^ No, as you can see from the first post, everyone has different eye shapes and sizes.
What matters is how you pull the lenses off, and you need to know which color/pattern suits you =)
If you post a picture of yourself, I'm sure other users will be happy to recommend some lenses (I think it's worked pretty well in the past).

Shiwen; I personally really really like Tutti Browns .. they make your iris bigger, and also brings out the brown color. It's much lighter than my original eye color but I still have people asking me 'Is that your natural eye color?', which I'm guessing means that it's quite natural hehe ~

I was planning to get circle lenss , but myfriendss sayd not to get it although it looks really prettty.
likee my friend was all like on the news and likee her doctor sayd not to get it and stuff because like the paint on it comes off in your eyes or somethinggggg or som ethingg

^ aha. I think your friend is just trying to scare you.
It is dangerous, all contact lenses are, you name it.
regular ones & color ones. The only different is that circle lenses
gives you less oxygen. But with a couple eyedrops here & there, you'll be fine.
Just don't wear it for more than 6-8 hours.

Also, most circle lens brands are FDA.

So what type of lenses do you guys think will 'look' nice on me? i want something that's like green or blue or something that will blend in and wont be too noticable. I've ordered Deuba? Tutti Grey and solid black. also G&G violet/purple. they didn't have the codes at the store i bought them in... anywho they're coming in about 2 weeks and I just wanted to ask, what other colors would look good on me that would be like something unnatural for an asains? i dont know... =/ i really want something that'll look nice on me but gives me a mysterious look. like question of my ethnicity such and such? i dont know >____<



also i've never worn contacgts ever, so when those three pairs come i guess it'll be my first time? as for the solution, if we put it in the contact box thingys... they dont leak right? >__< i dont know anything.

I want to try the tear brown lenses or tear grey ones, but the store doesn't offer it. Yah they do, my friend told me about it or else I would have ordered it myself. ---Anywho I hope I didn't break a rule there. thanks for your opinion! (: I can't wait until it comes, i shall record my first time trying out the lenses and probably see how long it'll take me since I might be scared of poking my eye LOL. >__<

^ Hahah nahh, we didn't break any rules. OMG I had so much trouble putting them on for the very first time, since I have hard contact lenses (smaller and harder xD) instead of soft ones like the circles are. But now it's easy-peasyy for my right eye but I still seem to have difficulties with my left. o_O Not like I wear my lenses often though so it doesn't matter for me.

For some reason, to me, the Nudy colors seem a little wow. O_O It looks like sparkly (sp?) or something. But I mean the colors are pretty and everything but I would never wear them myself.

I personally hate the quoting the pic rule, who cares if it takes up space, it is much convient..then looking through the pages to look at the picture the other person quoted. Btw are u right handed or left handed? I'm right handed and it takes forever to put the contact on my right eye..left eye take 10 sec...and most of the time i need to dry out the lens be4 i can put them on because it fold inward....I can't really tell if i'm wearing the lens inverted or not..it doesn't really matter..as long i can see and comortable with it. I can't seem to follow the taco rule, for telling if your lens is inverted or not...i cant tell lol

Hey guys, not to stir up any drama again, but I just wanted to say a little something because my name got mentioned. First of all, it is my personal belief that everyone has the right to do what they want to themselves cosmetically to make themselves feel pretty. I think we should all be sensitive to each other's feelings because in the case of circle lenses, we are all trying to improve our looks and it can be hurtful to hear negative comments about it because of something you were born with, like single eyes.

I think there are a lot of single-lidded girls in this very thread that look awesome with circle lenses. There are also double-lidded girls that don't look so great in them. I really do think it is up to the girl and the particular lens. Not all makeup tricks look good on everyone, and that's okay. Criticism should be given in a constructive way like a suggestion for a different color, not an umbrella statement that could hurt many people's feelings.

I personally think I look fine with and without circle lenses, with or without makeup. To be honest, I mostly wear the lenses for pictures and occasionally parties. I don't think they are comfortable and I look like a doll since I have a small face, but at the same time it's fun to look dolly sometimes. And doesn't everyone look better with makeup? Regardless of lenses? Anyways, that's pretty much all I wanted to say. Thanks to everyone who said I look good in the lenses. I'm always up for sticking up for the single-lidded girls. ^^

so has anyone had problems with Acuvue? i read a while back and someone mentioned these lenses.. but i cant find/ remember what that person said.. plus it was a few months ago so... it'll be hard to find it =(

well anyway.. i've just had my first experience with Acuvue lenses... and let me tell you.. it didnt end up so well~

it was my first time trying circle lenses~ the color i had was brown and it felt really comfortable. i wore them for about 2 hrs to get used to them then decided to take them off.
i took off my right lense, and somehow i managed to rip a little piece ... wierd because i dont really have long nails but.. ERGH. so i was staring at the lense thinking "UHHH.. ok, this sucks..''~ then i tried taking off my left lense, BUT it was stuck to my eyeball or something. and its wierd cuz i didnt feel it too dry or anything, it felt really comfortable! so i put eyedrops, moved my eyes around.. and the lense was still at the same exact same position... so i started to freak out. haha~ i got so irritated w/ it that i js rubbed my eyes, and the stupid lense finally came off!!! *oof, what a relieve*... so yea~ this is my first crappy experience w. the lenses...

has anyone had this problem w. any other kind of lenses too? or is this js me and my dummy eye?

Anyways, I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned why the water content on the GEO packaging all says 38% so I wanna clarify things up.

The company's official water content is 38% but some models were produced with 42% <like the colored ones> and even some with 45% but packaging is mass produced so they just leave it like that. They also said the water content difference isn't too significant... but yea that's what it's all about~
