it takes a while yes T__T
the thing is, after i put on my left con i cant put the right con in.
after i grew tired and was like, i'll try tmr and took it off.
i grew curious after a minute or two and put the right one it. first try it went in.
then i tried putting thr left one in.. didn't work -o-;;
this is so fustrating.
was wondering how long it take you to get use to it? o_o

yah, after about a dozen of times heheh

I couldn't do it fast because I was too scared of touching my own eyeballs,
After 3-5x I didn't feel so scared anymore and I could do it faster.

It takes me longer to put in the left one too.
I guess it's because I'm right-handed.

has any of you heard of a website that sells circle lenses? I won't mention their full name, but it has the word 'secret' in it.
I bought a 'ready stock' BT02 lenses from them about 4 months ago. And it ripped a week afterwards.

A few weeks later, I was roaming around my closet when I found the G&G bottles that I had ordered from them.
It was expired in February 2007. I bought it in August. Most dishonest seller ever.

I think those look more like regular colored contacts... I have regular
Honey and they look exactly like that. Maybe they look like circles because
of the black ring but thats actually because its her own pupil edge.

Today I hung out w/ a girl, her eye color looked exactly like that, I liked looking at her eyes, so cool looking.

Here's the girl I mentioned in the previous post. I guess her eye color is greener. Got the pics from her modeling site.

I'd kill for her eyes.

1. Nope not all circle lens ring are as light as the acuvue ones. My G&G black was quite dark ><;

2. Most probably Photoshop! Or different angle?

3. I have that problem when i had my first lens! But if you look really carefully, you would see a bowl shape and another with the end with - this end!

4. I tried with my one day freshlooks! Lol it just dry out and look so much smaller! Don't worry of leaving it in your eyes and it'll dry up like that since our eyes has moisture in it so the contact lens kind of took the moisture from our eyes, your eye would probably feel dry after a long period of time. Use some eye drop to moisturize your eyes! But if you don't and wear it for a long time your contact lens would be too dry and drop off! That would rarely happen =) But it happen to my friend once =.=;

Hope it helped and answered your questions!

hey thanks for ur reply.

do your G&G blacks look "fake" with the flash on? (by fake i mean u can see that u are wearing contacts)
or does it look completely black?

whats the difference between the G&G blacks , G&G amie black, and G&G Ifax ones by the way??
i cant really tell the difference..they all look the same on the models?

for tan skin, I'll say green.

I think people who wear nudy need eyemakeup to pull it off, eyeliner at least (except the brown one).

When I wear the nudy I always have eyemakeup on too because of the same reason. mellow.gif

Hi there.
i guess this two censt of mien is for people skeptical about circle lens.
i bought circle lens (brown ones) and like i never really understood how they work and how they differ from contacts. But, yeah they do make you eyes bigger (and a little scary) but liek having dark brown eyes doesnt really grab attention but circle lens grab atention. And also, it makes your eyes seem more innocent/vulnerable (for me it did).

Anyways, that my fast two cents. I would say, try them its not that expensive compare to contacts and u'll never know if you havnt tried. and im sure there are many opions about cirlce lens out there. so do you research. bye bye

heres an article about the water content....cuz ppl always think only high water content is comfy...but not true ^^'

The myth about the Water Content.

Higher weater content has pros and cons in comfortability. As generally, higher water content is more oxygen permeability and more comfort but it has drawbacks also. it's lens has to be made thicker becoz of it's fragile characteristic. So, the oxygen permeability (which affect the comfortability) of a lens is not soley based on water content but the thickness of lens as well. We call it Dk/t value!
Other factors affect comfortability include materials, manufactuting methods, environment and your eyes it self..... Very complicated!!!! Hm, so go to Harvard indeed!

As higher water content tempt to absorb more tears from our eyes to stay moist compare to lower water content, ppl with less tears moisturize or dry eyes will find it less comfort it will be as times pass hourly. U will encounter red, tired eyes after long day wearing. For example, a lens that has only 38% water content will not need to take as much tears from the eye to stay moist and it is less prone to dehydration. A contact lens with 55% or more water content is going to take more tears from the eye, adding to the dry eye effect.

So, high or low? depends on your eyes, lifestyle, working environment (in-front of computer, air-conditioned....) and length of wearing. I do not promo low water as i also got high water content lenses as well. If u eyes hv enuf tears moistures, no dry eyes and not plan to wear long hr per day, u still can choose high water content. If u situation is reverse side, go for lower content one!

if it's anything like the difference between BT2 brown and BT02 brown (both of which i have), i would guess that BT02 violet is surrounded by a solid black rim whereas BT2 violet would have a much more subtle rim to blend with the the eye. but i wouldn't know for sure. the only thing i prefer about the BT02 is that the circle for the pupil (NOT the iris) is... wider? so the pupil doesn't look like a small black pinpoint in my eye. that's the problem with most colored contacts.

btw, after reading the last few pages, i just want to reiterate the rules -- please do not quote pictures, do not use sexually explicit references (!), and if you have an issue with another member, please take it to PM. thanks.

Sorry, I have too many questions!
This doesn't really relate to circle lens but contact lenses in general.

Did you have some type of tutorial?
'Cause the optical place said you need an extra $20 for them to teach you how to use them.
I find that a rip off or is that safer?
bloocheese
^ I think that's a rip off. My optometrist didn't charge me anything extra when they were teaching me how to use contacts. Just look at videos on Youtube, I think they're pretty much the same thing as when they teach you. smile.gif

'Cause the optical place said you need an extra $20 for them to teach you how to use them.
I find that a rip off or is that safer?

haha wtf 20 bucks to teach you how to put on contacts?? They are so ripping you off, when i bought mine from a optical place they taught me as we went along trying the samples.

PandaKiss:

It's good that you asked because I will be the third person who will tell you that that is definitely a rip-off. I was not charged with any extra fees when I was taught how to wear contacts for the first time. I think it is standard procedure for them to teach how to apply contacts to new users?

Seriously... buy your contacts from elsewhere if possible.
x`aNNiie.
i got my aunt to teach me, so if you have relatives or friends, just ask them
its only took me like an hour haha
