So, i just got my Ifax blacks and uh they flip everytime i take them out o.o" Theyre super comfortable in my right eye, cant tell that I'm wearing them at all, but on my left... X.x well not really, but its not comfortable =/ its like the lense rub against my bottom rim and it's just annoying, like having an eyelash stuck to your eyeball =/ Also, is there a specific way to tell which is the side you put on your eyeball for these? Both sides looks the same to me, and when i tried them flipped, it didnt feel more uncomfortable than before.
I also want another color, the black isnt that great =/ anything recommended for a chinese girl with strong yellow undertones and a fading tan? D=
My eyes also arent small (no green please)

^ Ahh, that happens to me, too! One of my I.Fax black lenses are super comfortable, but the other is uncomfortable T_T I can't wear them for 10 minutes! I've tried switching them around (since my eyesight is practically equal on both eyes), but still, only one is comfortable.
As for the recommendation, how about grey? Most people are satisfied with grey lenses ... if you want something subtle, go for Tutti grey or Tear grey, if you want it noticeable, try Nudy grey.

Jisoo it probably has something to do with your eyeshape. Your eyes are bound to be not the same shape exactly. I would've said it was prescription until you noted that your prescriptions were exactly the same. I wear -3.00 in one eye and -5.00 in the other, and guess which contact is more comfortable? Yep, the -3.00 cause it's thinner.
Grey lenses are a good bet, or a soft brown.

yeah, that happened to me too when I wore Free Teen brand, I've perfect eyesight btw.
Left one was blurry and the right one was normal. When I switched the lenses, the left one was normal and the right one was blurry.
So it's not my eyes, something wrong w/ one of the lenses.
Probably the company that carried the lenses sold defective ones >_>
With the nudy, I have no problems at all, I can see perfectly fine.

I am assuming that you are referring to the diameter; I don't know about ALL lenses, but my daily acuvue are 14.2mm in diameter while the circle contacts that I have are roughly around 14mm.
The best way is to check your lenses and then compare to the circle lenses that you are interested in.

she's right.
which makes me wonder what's the real difference between circle lenses and say, freshlook.
the diameter on freshlook is larger which would make for an even greater effect on a bigger eye [since many circle lenses as i've seen and as
meliawy pointed out].
many brands [not proclaimed circle lenses] even have a limbal ring.
but i will hand it to circle lenses for such variety of effects ;D

The difference is that the diameter of the whole surface of the lens doesn't mean anything. It's how big the colored part is. Freshlooks contacts may have a large diameter, but the colored part doesn't cover up much - when people with bigger irises wear Freshlooks, the edges of the their actual irises show in the clear ring, making it look like there's a thin darker ring because the iris isn't covered fully.
If you have both in front of you to compare, you can see that circle lenses leave less clear space around the edges than the Freshlooks. I've tried Freshkon lenses that are in their Color Fusions collection, not their Alluring Eyes (which are widely accepted as circles), and they are still just as huge. The only difference is that there isn't a limbal ring around them, but I would consider them closer to circles than Freshlooks contacts, just because the colored area is larger and actually overlaps over the white part of the eyes on most people.

i read an article in which this optometrist recommended that you not wear them for more than 3-4 hours at a time. i really think that's the safest way, but of course that's pretty hard to manage when you're out and about.
to be honest, i don't usually think about how many hours i've been wearing them. i just try to take them off as soon as i get home. so far i've been lucky, and i've been wearing circle lenses for a full year now. but if my eyes get infected, well, i know i have myself to blame >_<

sorry for so many questions >_<; but is the company NEO? Because i ran across lenses also called "Sunflower, two tone blahblahcolor" and ... they look horrendous -__-; that's why i'm kinda surprised it's sunflower. it looked like someone threw the most ugliest mix of color together and just painted on the little lens and made a clear whole for the pupil

I have no idea if the company is NEO cause I usually dont look at that little bottle it comes in. I just open and toss it away ahaha. sorry.
It is 2 tone and there are only 2 flaws to them.
1: Green + purple: it slides when I blink but eh.. im used to it now.
2: Unlike the grey(bought somewhere else), the green and purple colours are kinda pixelated. Maybe its just that brand.. dunno, i don't mind since its unnoticable in pictures and noticable if someone stares RIGHT in front of your face (which never happens since thats like invading personal space....)
They are comfortable to me but there are times i need to use eyedrops but thats only cause I stare at the computer a lot during work (graphic designer)
When I'm out shopping, I dont need eyedrops, comfy.
Length of time worn: 9am - 7pm. Almost 12 hours... but I take them out when I get home.

Define different. The packaging itself is different or only the label of the bottle looks shady? I'm sorry, I don't own any geo lenses, so I can't help you out. But I notice that for lenses that last up to a year, they usually come in a small bottle. For those that last for 2 weeks/3 months, I've seen some that come in something that reminds me of a small tin can.

Nov 27 2007, 09:33 PM
InfinitieTime - high water content is good. Because circle lenses take away your oxygen and can possibly
make you blind if you don't put eyedrops in once in awhile.
The lowest water content I own is 38%, and I wear it for 6 hours? I put in eyedrops in every 90 minutes.

Haha there's nothing wrong with Acuvue Defines, but I think they're generally the least interesting out of all those available to us consumers.

I'm actually thinking about getting them though, since I can wear them longer than completely coloured circle lenses and I'm getting bored with my normal irises.
But you really shouldn't wear them for more than max 10 hrs/day, especially if you wear them every single day. This is true for most normal clear contacts, so I'd assume it's even more significant for any contacts with any less breathability. I dunno, use cucumber eye masks? Haha sorry I'm not much help~
