Acuvue as a brand overall: my optometrist recommends acuvue dailies for my normal contact lenses. Personally, I like the brand, it's comfortable. I seldom feel discomfort, in fact, when I wore them for the first time, I could not even feel them (now that I got my G&G, I finally understood what discomfort means. lol). My eyes also never dry out, and I would forget that I'm wearing them on certain occasions when I unconsciously "try" to push my glasses up. Haha. Sometimes, I even wore them for more than 12 hours (NOT recommended

). Most of my friends that I know also wear Acuvue. I know nothing about the circle lenses from acuvue though.
There is little discussion about acuvue's circle lenses in here because most people who reply in this thread show more interest in circle lenses that have colours/designs? Idk. But I prefer circle lenses with colour, the all black effect creeps me out a little.

hihi i have some questions ^^
so basically does anyone know what CIRCLE LENS are called in Chinese?
cus I'm gonna tell my dad to send some over for me, so much cheaper than
buying it in US dollars
and i don't know if this is allowed... since i'm technically on the border of breaking
the rules but... if it isn't allowed, please tell me. If not, please answer ^^
Since my dad is in Beijing, where can I get circle lenses?

in my opinion, acuvue amethyst look the best. they look really natural, a blend of gray, purple and brown. they're nto exactly circle lenses becauses they don't have the defined black edge, but they still make your eyes stand out.

Im planning to get new set of lenses... But still deciding on which to get. I think ill be getting the Tutti Grays since its dark... Any recommendations for dark brown lenses? Im planning to get other brand aside from Bescon, but as long as it's dark, has a black outer ring and not too "gold-ish" looking, that would be fine... ^^

It is
recommended that you wear only up to 6 hours. Not that you HAVE to. I definitely wear mine for more than 6 hours on certain occasions, although I try not to.
Wearing contacts may have side effects for some people, but not for others. It really depends. It is a bit of a gamble really, but as soon as I feel any discomfort, I'll immediately take mine out.

Personally, I find that reputable brands of circle lenses are of decent quality. I do not feel that they are any less safe to wear than normal contacts, although the only downside to circle lenses is that they tend to have a lower water content than normal contacts, thus making your eyes more irritable after a shorter period of time.
But hey, I am just another consumer, if you are really that worried about the safety, go to the optometrist who sells them and ask whatever it is you need to ask for reassurance. Or go to your own optometrist for advice. After all, they are the ones who know best.

actually we do have black rings, all eyes have black rings.
but not as visible / thick as the black rings of circle lenses, especially if you have dark brown eyes.
so i'm thinking of buying tear browns, but i'm still not too sure.
anyone here have them?
how are they? like, are they hugely noticeable? cause i used to have tutti browns (that ripped T_T) and i liked them.
i want SOMEwhat natural looking lenses, like the tuttis.
