so i'm thinking of buying tear browns, but i'm still not too sure.
anyone here have them?
how are they? like, are they hugely noticeable? cause i used to have tutti browns (that ripped T_T) and i liked them.
i want SOMEwhat natural looking lenses, like the tuttis.
also, how long do they last? three months or a year?

Tear browns really are not visible at all if you have very dark iris unless someone really comes up close and take a closer look. I've tried taking pictures with my tear brown under normal lighting but they never seem to come out. Then again, I have very terrible lighting in my room and my camera is ancient. You can refer back to the first page for some photos by people who have them. I still prefer the tutti series, and now, my tutti grey owns me. Lol.

Anyway, how long the contacts last depend on your seller. Some of them sell hose that lasts for a year, but I prefer using 3 months disposable ones.

can you help me out?
how should i wear the contact lenses?
i'm only allowed to wear them up to six hours not longer?
do contact lenses have side effects?
thank you very much if you could help

Not trying to scare you, but the side effects are... you could get 'pink eye' or even become blind.

^ Most circle lens are valid for up to one year, some 6 months, some 3 months and some even a few weeks.
You should throw them out after the valid period. If you don't know how long they last, ask your seller.

My lenses STILL haven't come in T_T and they were shipped out 3 weeks ago, grrrrrrrr D< damn postal service is so slow.

HELP HERE! biggrin.gif

Im planning to get new set of lenses... But still deciding on which to get. I think ill be getting the Tutti Grays since its dark... Any recommendations for dark brown lenses? Im planning to get other brand aside from Bescon, but as long as it's dark, has a black outer ring and not too "gold-ish" looking, that would be fine... ^^
Oh, and any recommendations on GEO lenses? Im thinking about getting a pair of GEO's, but not the nudy ones... which color should i get? I have a "tan" skin... thanks a lot! biggrin.gif

^^ANYONE CARE to answer pls... biggrin.gif

Hello all! I've seen pictures of people wearing nudy grays, but I haven't seen anyone wearing (geo) angel grays... I plan to get some grey contacts, and I was hoping to see some comparisons. From the advertisements I've seen, they don't look that different, but sometimes contacts look radically different than in the ad, so....

Also, I'm multiracial with "western" hazel/brown eyes, and I'm kind of worried about the pupil gap looking odd... crazy.gif I think it will look fine indoors, but my eyes go really light, bright gold/green in the sun. Hopefully it won't end up freaky-looking. =P

(My apologies if angel gray pictures have already been posted. I don't remember seeing any whenever I've browsed, and I've browsed through most if not all of this thread in the past couple of months.)

P.S. I tried posting this, and it didn't show up, so I'm posting in fast-reply mode- if there's a double-post, you know why. =)

~ BunnyliciouS ~
^ Eyedrops helps.
Wearing them for 8-10 hours is fine. Just take them off asap right after you're arrive at home.
If you notice your eyes condition is worse than usual (very red, visible veins, etc), just don't wear them for awhile until they're back to normal.
unlike some people, who keep wearing them even though their eyes were all red and had bloodshot, rolleyes.gif

My eye sight has become worst. :\ It actually varies; Some people still have perfect eyesight ^o^
There was once a light pink line around my eye once. I just put in eye drops & didn't wear them
for a few days, and it was fine afterwards.

My eye sight has become noticeably worse.
I used to just need glasses to read far away. Whenever I forgot my glasses, I could just squint really hard and read. It was like that for a couple years.
Now after wearing circle lens on and off, I can't read something far away even if I squint.

If you like natural looking circle lenses, stay away from nudy. They look really good in pictures, but up close they have a really strange speckle pattern. I had nudy brown but I gave them away because they were soooo fake and scary looking in person. Some people like the pattern though, but if you like natural (like dali brown), then stay farrr from nudyssss~

One of my friends started wearing circle lenses about a year or two ago and her vision before trying them was -3.25 on both eyes, but after a year of wearing circle lenses, her vision got so much worse. I know it 'may' be considered normal for eyesight to get a bit worse within a year by a few -points- but within a year, hers went from -3.25 on both eyes to -5.50 on her right eye and -5.75 on her left eye.

She told me she stopped wearing circle lenses and is now just using acuvue advance & staying at the same prescription.

Has this ever happened to anyone else? o_O
melkimx
^ i don't know anything about this matter, so i have to say it's possible. but you could also consider the possibility that worsened vision is due to aging or other causes. my eyesight got worse all throughout my teen years and into my twenties, and it definitely wasn't due to circle lenses (which didn't even exist back then). every time i visited the optometrist, they'd increase my prescription a few steps. so i think sometimes it's just something that happens as you get older, regardless of whether you're wearing glasses, regular contacts, or circle lenses.

wow, they're beautiful. never would've guessed that you were wearing lenses.

Would you recommend these for people who want a subtle change as opposed to
something more dramatic? Do they make your eyes noticeably bigger or just slightly?

I was wondering because I want to try a natural brown lens that acts more like an
enhancer to dark brown eyes, yet at the same time doesn't make your eyes freakishly huge.

Anyone else recommend anything natural? smile.gif

Yeah, I know that, but she just said it was freaky how bad her vision got. She was always used to going 'down' about -.25-.50, but not -2.00, or 2 whole numbers xD

She just turned 18 this past year and gets all tense whenever she hears someone talk about circle lenses, lol. She learned about them on soompi too, but doesn't come on anymore ^^;

anyone with purple lenses?
could you post a pic & the brand?

if you go all the way back to around mid august you'll see some violet.
i posted my free teen violet there (not recommended to get that brand), and a couple of people posted their G&G violet.

i own a pair of grey ones..
and at first i was so scared to put them in my eyes.
after i put them in. whenever i blink, the lens seem to move a little.
is that how it feels?
i took it out right after because it felt wierd.. and a little irritated..

wow, they're beautiful. never would've guessed that you were wearing lenses.

Anyone else recommend anything natural? smile.gif

It's definitely natural. I don't see it as dramatic as the colored ones or as the black ones..
And it doesn't make your eyes freakishly huge, just enhances (: I think based on what you're looking for, Neo Dali Browns would be perfect for you (:

I'll don't have any before & after picts but I'll dig around and find some picts of me w/o lenses and with the lenses on and post it here.
