i've been interested in getting circle lens lately and ive found some really cute designs that i like.
i asked my korean friend at school to see if she knew any places around here to see if there were any stores that sold them. [i live in an area where there are a lot of asians and asian stores, mostly korean]
she told me that circle lens aren't good because she and her friend bought some and wore them for awhile. after wearing them, they noticed that their pupils got smaller, so the both of them stopped wearing it. i also heard that wearing circle lens can cause your eye sight to worsen?
are these true? o.O

Some say that their vision got worser but for me, currently I don't see my vision getting worser yet, so yah. Or you can wear them till you notice that your vision is getting worser then it is, then stop. As for the pupil getting smaller,? I doubt it, but if I'm wrong. Correct me someone. (:

Did she mean her irises got smaller? Because technically your pupil is constantly constricting or dilating in order to accomodate the amount of light it is receiving. Therefore if she was looking at herself in high light conditions then yes, her pupils would be smaller. But if she was talking about the iris, I think I know what she means. After wearing circle lenses and taking them off, your irises can look like they have shrunk, but that's because you're used to seeing the enlargement effect from the lens. It happens to me too. On the odd day I'll take them off and be like.. whoa haha ^^
As for your eye sight worsening, any type of contact lens could cause that, and there are plenty of other factors that could cause deteriorating eye sight. I would say don't worry about it though, since my prescription hasn't changed since I started wearing circle lenses =)

JELLOO if you look at the lense case she got it from, it says the power of the lenses are 0.00 so meaning the lense itself has no perscription/power so that's why it'd be blurry. and after she wears her perscripted glasses (with her original power) with her no-power contact lenses it'd be not blurry. sorry for the werid wording if it gets you confused. also correct me if im wrong.

The circle lens are cheap to begin with, it is expensive because they don't have it in store in the US. People who are selling bought them for $10-$12 a pair.
It's not about the price, its about the Brand. You should check the brand and the FDA sign, prices don't say mch

Can circle lenses ever get like stuck in your eye?
haha i think that they can get stuck sometimes.
once, i was putting on my tutti browns and i blinked after i stuck them in my eye.
and when i opened my eye, they weren't there. i was freaking out, because i remember watching this old movie where a kid got the contact lens roll around to the BACK of his eye.
but lucky me, it was just around the top of my eye, so i moved it right away.
i think there is a chance it'll get stuck, but not that high.

Once I was @ school, and I rubbed my right eye. Suddenly, my right eye's
vision seemed to be different than the left. And I knew one was off. It was almost time
for class to begin, and I couldn't find the right len that fell. I looked around the classroom

One thing I don't understand is, if all the ulzzangs took off their circle lenses, wouldn't they be... not as pretty/cute? (So they wouldn't be ulzzangs?) Because circle lens make a veryy big difference. So they would look super different right? o_O Or same with celebs (who wear them
all the time). In this one Taiwanese girl band called 'Hei Se Hui Mei Mei', there are these two girls who always have circles on. Here's a pic of one of them; I think she has even
modelled circle lens before, so some people here may recognize her.

The rest of her (and the other girl's) band-mates wear them occasionally, but not all the time like they do. So it really makes me wonder, how do they look without them? Don't they worry that if there's a day they don't wear them, people will make a big deal of how different they look?
Honestly, a few people I know who wear them look wayy better with them on.

Ehh anyway.. when you guys wear them, do your friends know about them? (I mean if you're wearing the more natural ones, do you still bother to tell them.)
