i don't think you can or should sleep in them. very very bad for your eyes..not to mention major dryness >_<

but they're definitely not circle lenses.

DA-1s look good on u!! why didn't u go for DS-22? the bigger ones? are they too big/unnatural?

I wanted to get DS-22..but the seller didn't have it, and I never knew about circle lens, and all those effects on the black ones looked same to me haha.. I was confused with all the diff. brands and names, too.. like DA, DS, MX, etc.. I still can't tell the differences between all those black lenses.... they ALL look the SAME!! but what's the best/most popular one?

wanderluste, please remove the image tags when quoting. :]

One thing I don't understand is, if all the ulzzangs took off their circle lenses, wouldn't they be... not as pretty/cute? (So they wouldn't be ulzzangs?) Because circle lens make a veryy big difference. So they would look super different right? o_O Or same with celebs (who wear them all the time). In this one Taiwanese girl band called 'Hei Se Hui Mei Mei', there are these two girls who always have circles on. Here's a pic of one of them; I think she has even modelled circle lens before, so some people here may recognize her.

http://img225.imageshack.us/img225/3631/39...08689kc3.th.jpg http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/9690/20...72e4cah9.th.jpg

The rest of her (and the other girl's) band-mates wear them occasionally, but not all the time like they do. So it really makes me wonder, how do they look without them? Don't they worry that if there's a day they don't wear them, people will make a big deal of how different they look?

Honestly, a few people I know who wear them look wayy better with them on. sweatingbullets.gif Ehh anyway.. when you guys wear them, do your friends know about them? (I mean if you're wearing the more natural ones, do you still bother to tell them.)

there was a thread on that girl without make up but still had circle lenses on.
she looks really...ehhh... no comment.

Has anyone tried MX-21 Greens? Is the green as noticeable as tutti greens?
Clear and unphotoshoped pictures of it would be much appreciated~ ^^

Ahh! I'm REALLY frustrated with my tutti lens.. I love them to death, but it takes me forever to get them into my eyes! They won't stick to my eyeballs. sad.gif Does anyone else have this problem? Any advice on how to get them in quicker? o_o I have G&G lens as well, and I'm always able to pop those right in.

I'm not sure if it's the way you're putting them in or not (though it doesn't really sound like it if your G&G lenses pop right in), but sometimes if I'm having trouble getting my contacts in, I'll put a little drop of eye drop solution in the middle and put it in...it kinda gets rid of the air bubbles and helps the contacts adhere to the eyeball.

Keep practicing, it took me almost half an hour to just put them in..
but now they just take almost 5 minutes MAX. Sometimes it only takes 10 seconds .___.
I just hold the lens on the bottom part of my eye until it sticks, and then slide it up to position it.
I don't know if that's a correct or safe way though X__________X

But the problem is it refuses to stick at all. o____o It sticks to my finger instead, which causes it to flip inside out sometimes lol. If I'm lucky a tiny part at the top will stick to my eyeball, then I have to hold that part there lightly with my finger and use my other finger on the opposite hand to stick the rest of the lens in. And even that still takes forever to do. x) It's really quite sad.

Anyway here are pictures of my BT01 lens. Nothing special, since so many people own a pair already.
(All of these pics were taken without flash.)

And here's what it looks like when I do this O_O .....

And with makeup, looking up:

They're definitely bigger than my tuttis. Or.. yeah they look bigger. FYI: I only used photoshop to crop, resize, brighten, & sharpen. Nothing else. smile.gif

has anyone had bad side effects from wearing them? like, eye infection, pink eye, worsen sight...etc=\

Errr.. yeah... I had a repeat eye infection. Don't remember which pair that caused it but it was awful! (I think it was either the brown one or the black one) I was resorted to wear glasses for several weeks (I have been a contact wearer for atleast 10 years now).

And now, i have a allergy reaction to all contact lens, once I put them in, it gets red vines. New contacts, circle lens, non-circle lens etc...

Btw, I chucked all the infected case and lens and was very careful with my hygine, still I managed to get pink-eye!

My only advice is, get a circle contact with a comparitively high water content (other than being fastidious cleaning habits), and certainly don't try to over stretch the recommended time limits! Luckily for someppl, wearing circle lens isn't much of a problem.

Lol. They are pixelated when you stare right into them. However, personally, I LOVE how they look from far.

(And even though there are more than enough number of people on this forum who own and have shown their tutti greys....)

up close and personal (With flash):

from far (both without flash):

for those interested...

gingerpeach: I had the same problem as well!!! Haha. What I did was, I made sure that the tip of the finger that I use to put on my lenses is dry, gently place the middle part of the lens (the clear circle part in the middle) on the edge of the fingertip, try to minimize the surface area touching your finger. When I put them in, I slide the edges in first, when the entire lens is in your eye, lift the finger upwards. Hahaha. The trick that worked with my tuttis is to minimize the part touching your finger (: Hope that helps. Lots of practice also helps... like chifuni said, after a while, you'll be pro at it xD
gingerpeach
princess88 Thank youu <3 I do look dazed with them under certain lighting though, hahah.

meliawy Thanks for that advice! I'll just keep on practicing it that way. But I guess that's the only downside of tuttis for me, so it's okay. You're pretty, btw, and the tutti grays look reallyy nice on you. smile.gif I think I'm gonna get a pair of those after I receive my G&G grays.

Does anyone have pictures of bt02 gray and bt02 brown? I'm contemplating on whether or not I should get them. I like tuttis, but I wish the ring around the lens was a tad bit thinner and natural looking.

I heard the gray looks blue-ish sometimes and the brown can look green-ish?

That happens. Sometimes, the really dark brown of your natural iris blends with the gray to make it look bluish. It might be your lighting though. Some of my shots with grey lenses make my eyes look distinctly blue, but in real life, they actually look very natural and only with the vaguest tint of gray. Still debated on whether or not that's a good thing, btw.

I own a pair of MX-21 Greens and the color isn't that noticeable like moodibunni said. I still get comments saying they're green and stuff [: I actually quite like them because they give that big eyed effect like the IFAX (I think a bigger effect as well) but also have a tinge of green. They're more comfortable than me IFAXs but not as comfortable as my GEOs.

I think if you want a noticeable green don't get MX21 but if you want a big eyed effect that doesn't make you look as dead then go ahead for the MX21 [: I'll try to post pictures soon.

Hi, everyone !

Sorry, I haven't been on Soompi for a while. I've been pretty busy with work during the past week.

First things first:

Thanks princess88! smile.gif I find the nudy lens most comfortable. The tuttis are all right, but sometimes at the end of the day, my eyes are a bit red and irritated. I agree with you that my eyesight worsens after wearing circle lens, but in a few days, my vision is back to normal. Weird, huh?

Fashionista : The recent pic of you wearing the nudy purples are gorgeous. They really suit you well. I wish I could get them, but they only come in 0.00 power, and I have horrible eyesight.

meliawy: Thanks for your comment smile.gif I think that the freshlooks give more of a "sexy" look whereas the circle lens give a more cute look. I don't see too much of a size difference when compared to circle lens, but that's my personal opinion. A downside to the lens is that they hold less water content thus they give a dry appearance to my eyes...comfort-wise, my vision gets blurry from time to time (probably from dryness).

QUESTION: Does anyone sometimes feel embarrassed to wear circle lens? Non-Asians and people who are unaware of the circle lens culture probably think that they look weird and unnatural when they look at you up close. Also, when Asians who know about circle lens see that you are wearing them, would they think that you are vain and wear them to cover how you really look?...because they know that the lens make a huge difference. maybe it's just me, but sometimes I cannot look at someone directly in the eyes when I am wearing circle lens.

Can anyone relate to this?
