oh, and i wanted to ask a question
my brown lenses were fine before
but now, for one of them
when i blink the contact moves
so its not really "stuck" on my eyeball
its really uncomfortable, and i cant see properly from that eye, lol
anyone know whats wrong with it?
i really dont want to throw it out =[
ive only used it for about a week now, so ive got about another 5½ of use

thnx

Sounds like you put that contact in inside-out. So, it's going in your eye on the wrong side, and that's why it doesn't stick and it hurts your eye. Happened to me a few times before. Just re-moisten the contact and then flip it, and it should be fine. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, just let me know and I'll try to explain it more clearly. =D

To be safe, you should check the contact before inserting it in your eye. If it makes a perfect bowl shape when resting on your finger, then it should be fine. But if it looks like the edges are kind of sharp, then it means it's inside out. ;]

has anyone tried the Dueba DM-21 series?

i'm thinking of maybe getting

DM21 Violet

or

DM21 Green

if anyone has tried it, does the color + design show up on the eyes clearly?
it looks really nice on the model but i think it's cause they used flash in the picture so that the color shows up clearer.

does anyone know which brand and rather if the ones that JungEum is wearing are tear lenses or jewelry lenses?
it seems a bit hard to tell but i like the way they look on her...

p.s.// aryan tears? freeteen tears?

These don't really look like tear lenses, but they do look like cloud lenses. Literally, there are swirls or clouds. I think they are made by G&G?

They're actually quite natural looking. It kind of ads hazel to my eyes, as weird as that is. Most people have no idea that I'm wearing colored contacts
My natural eye color is light brown.

tutti grey is more natural looking
they sort of "blend" more with your natural eye colour
they make your eyes look bigger, but more subtle
lol, you can tell im being bias, because i really like these ones
my eye colour is brown, but my tutti grey lenses look better on me than my brown ones sweatingbullets.gif

blue, looks fake and unnatural
if your eye colour isnt naturally blue, you shouldnt get them
they dont suit a lot of people

Is $14.90 too cheap and unreliable for a pair of barbie grays that last up to 3 months? sweatingbullets.gif
x`aNNiie.
^i was jst thinking about that..$15 contacts..can they make u blind o__O??
Joob
^Well, I'm not sure about your case, but the barbie grays I'm looking at are $14.90 that lasts up to 3 months, but like other people bought circle lenses for $25 and they last up to one year. $14.90 x 4 = $59.60. More expensive by a lot? wacko.gif

More expensive = more reliable?
x`aNNiie.
^oh ok..i was always confused about yearly and 3 month ones..i mean if yearly ones cost less and like last longer.why buy 3 month ones...hmmm blink.gif
ix3katz
^ its better to have 3 months..or even weekly ones~
cuz although contacts solutions remove the protein and what not, they may not do it throughoutly..esp if u use them for long long time~
eventually the dirty stuff builds up on the lens ( = less space for ur eyes to breath or sth??? at least thats what my mom told me..)
so its better to change ur lenses every once in a while

If the optometrist is reputable, it's probably ok. Contact lense companies ship their products to places all over the world. I know there are many trustworthy places to get Korean circle lenses in China and Taiwan - I don't see why it would be different for Vietnam. Just ask a lot of questions about the lenses before you purchase them to be sure.

BAN`CHAN - if you have lighter brown eyes, the purple will show better. I have very dark brown, so they looked almost black on me. In the flash, they're purple like the advertisement though.

I've yet to try Dueba, but the clor doesn't look too opaque. I want to try FreeTeen Violets, since the color is extremely bold on the contacts, but I don't think anyone has tried those yet (or they haven't posted in the thread at least)

i just came back from korea
and actually, the circle lenses are more expensive there than buying from sellers on forums, etc
the cheapest decent ones (plain black or black ring) are about $31-32
and the nicer ones (tear lenses, etc) are about $42-43
they even have really expensive ones that are $85+
ANGiEE
^ yeah my friend bought me a pair of tuti grays while she was in korea for about 40,000 won
thats almost the same amount as the seller who i got my other tuti grays from.. but she has to add shipping and all too
its better to get from wholesalers for sure

if you want noticeable ones, then get tutti blues, definitely.
but if you want subtle but prominent eyes, then get tutti grays.

when i open the circle lenses & i wear them right.
so the circle lenses last for one year, and for example i opened it on december 01, 2006
it`ll expire on december 01, 2007? even if i don't wear it EVERYDAY for a year? or its literally a year for the days that i wear it?

I'm getting ColorVue Dolly lenses for my models during my school fashion show -- they're all black (not just the outer ring) so I'll post pics of them after the show :]

I would advise starting off with just the outer ring if you're scared about all black. That way you'll have some natural color showing through.

you should never wear them for more than 6 hours, MAX
more than that, it has a higher chance of wrecking your contacts, and your eyes
dbskluver3eva
No matter what, circle lens are still kinda bad for your eyes right? Cuz for contacts, they are like perscribed and made to EXACTLY match the contours of your eyes. For circle lens, don't you like kind of estimate the diameters. Like I know they sell like 14 to 14.60. They might not be exact matches.

I really want to get them, but I don't even wear glasses let alone contacts. My mom told me that even contacts themselves will erode at the cornea of the eye. Thus, as time wears on, your vision will dull. Is that true? I want to make my eyes look bigger, but I don't want to risk losing my 20/20 vision right now...

No matter what, circle lens are still kinda bad for your eyes right? Cuz for contacts, they are like perscribed and made to EXACTLY match the contours of your eyes. For circle lens, don't you like kind of estimate the diameters. Like I know they sell like 14 to 14.60. They might not be exact matches.

well i've worn COLOR contacts for a long period of time before i started wearing circle lenses, they say all type of contacts can make you vision dull later on. well for me it was REALLY weird. at first my vision was around -2.50, then a year later i went for a checkup again to see if anything happened to my vision, it was LOWER? like -2.00 i was like wthecks? so i dont know =x im a weird person i suppose lol. my vision went less instead of higher?
but but when you get any type of lenses that arent glasses, you should always get the checkup that are for contact lenses (even if it costs money) because they give yu a trial pair && contact lenses are on your eyes as glasses arent on your eyeballs, so isn't it a bit different? well i dernos cos to me its different. or maybe its just me =x

^ omg joe, you're sooo going to go blind! lol!! j/k.. but be more careful, EVERYONE!

I guess the best solution for everyone is that you where it, then take it out DURING SCHOOL, where your glasses be/c you let your eyes breath then put them back in like after 2/3 hrs... I GUESS!!!!!! I'm not a doctor so if you go blind, i;m sooo sorrry!!!!!!!!!!! JK...lol... (somehow i highy doubt peoplem would do that, but oh well it's your eyes....

they say it looks really naturally until they actually think about it...
ie. hang on... pure asians dont have grey eyes... ph34r.gif

Sorry, I have to disagree. There are non-mixed Asians with naturally grey eyes.

YEs, circle lens can be bad for your eyes. But there are many different brnds of lenses with different base curves and diameters - and if you cannot find one that matches your regular contact prescriptions, it's your own desicion to wear them knowing they are potentially harmful.

Vision is subjective to everyone. As you can tell from mmitsjojo's post, her vision didn't worsen after time. But if you read through previous pages, there are people who's eyesight did.

If you want to make your eyes look bigger, maybe try different make up like white eyeliner or fake eyelashes. You already said yourself you don't want to risk anything. Circle lenses are a beauty OPTION - not a must have. Everyone here wearing circle lenses do so of their own accord - not because it was their only choice.
