today my friend came to school with really bright purple circle lens! i didnt kno they sold them in the US O.o
she's not asian and she doesnt kno they're called circle lens but i looked and they had a black rim. omg they're sooo pretty they look like nudy or tutti purple that has been photoshopped..except she was wearing them in real life =O
too bad she has no idea what brand they are V___V

Eh, My 'friend' came into school with Tutti blue and she also bought some green ones, I think nudy. She didn't know they were circle lenses either, and she told me she bought them from a chinese person in this place, the place she told me is a bit dodgy so yeah...But when she has Tutti Blues on they were like blue blue, but when she put on the greens the colour look off, like not like the ones in picture but fake. She didn't know they were circle lens, And I def know they are circle lens because all my friends didn't know why it had a black ring and everyone called her an alien ¬_¬.

For those who have both nudy and tutties, which do you think is most confortable?

okay i have a question
what sort of damage can contact lenses do to your eyes if they roll to the back of your eye? well not really all the way to the back. Like cuz once mine kind of folded over in my eye and it slid up into my eyelid and back a little bit and I couldn't even feel it until i started rolling my eye around. Can it slip all the way to the back of your eyes?

you should take a pic of ur friend and show me! lollll
ooohh yeah on my friend the black rim was obvious too.
i don't get called an alien because the brown on mine makes it hard to seethe black haha i like the circle lens without the rim they look pretty..what i dont like about tutti colors are that they all look black from far away =/ nudies are speckly and free teens i heard looked black from far away too =((((

Ok. Since I just read about it not too long ago, I might as well post it in here and clear the myth for everyone...

QUOTE
Q: Can the contact lens slides off and get lost behind the eye?

A: The contact lens can slide under the upper lid and out of view, but it can't get lost behind the eye because the tissue that covers the front of the eye folds back on itself and becomes the back surface of the upper eye lid like an envelope. It causes no harm except you can't see thru it until you recenter it over the pupil.

Your lens CANNOT slip to the back of your eyes!!! But YES, you will still experience major discomfort if the lens fold/ shift/ slide elsewhere they are not meant to be.

We aren't allowed to say where we get them so i guess i can't tell you if it is safe or not. Well for one thing, not only one website sell circle lens so we can't really say if buying online is safe, because one might be good but another might not, sorry if this sounds confusing phew.gif . Just research and think about the place carefully when you're buying. smile.gif

Depends on the type of lens you are wearing. So far, I know that there are: daily disposable lens, lens disposable after 3 months, 6 months or 1 year.

So, if you are wearing daily disposable ones, you can wear them more than one time for the course of 24 hours. You should throw them away 24 hours after you first opened the package. i.e: you wear them in the morning and took them out in the afternoon, you can wear them again at night. However, just make sure that you throw them away at the end of the day.

For lenses that last longer, of course you can wear them over a longer span of time. You just need to maintain them and clean them on a daily basis until they are to be thrown out.

Hope that helps....

if anyone needs help with circle lens im here to help!
i use to be so obessed with them / i am a super fob sleep.gif;;

lol
i know almost everything about circle lenses
but im kinda new to soompi
anyways

i was just reading through the thread and i was really surprise to see that some of the popular circle lenses here are really unpopular in korea
weird..

and for the people with the question: Are cheap circle lenses bad?
the answer is..
Cheap ones are bad, but just because you got them cheap does not mean they are bad. Im not sure how much hypa c7 is here but in korea they are usually around 10000won (~$10), so if you bought hypa c7 for $35 it doesn't mean the $10 ones from korea are bad ones. But some circle lens are better in quality so it tends to sell for higher prices. For example, tutti color are pretty good circle lenses (or atleast use to be), so the prices never goes under $18.

I hope that answers the question. I know its kinda confusing....
haha

i've made purchases up to like 50-60 bucks.. i think it's pretty safe if you can wrap it well.

I purchased my lenses using CC, i bought a pair for my friend too, so basically I mailed out 72$
It feels kind of sketchy sometimes, because I'm always worried if the post people might take the money?
But so far every transaction has gone through for me!
I just make sure to decorate the outside of my envelope going like "Merry Christmas!" "Happy new years!" or "Happy Birthday!" whichever holiday coincides with the month and draw little pictures on it so people think its some sort of a card? I also cover my bills in tin foil? One of my friends told me to do that, so when the post office ever scans your card, they don't see any money? something like that.

oh and about concealed cash... i remember when i used to ebay my old clothes/shoes... some girl actually sent me something like $xx.94 in concealed cash. 94 cents of unwrapped change jingling around in a standard white envelope that came to michigan all the way from hawaii. i couldn't believe it. but it got sent *shrugs* so i guess it can work

What brand is the circle 2 gray? The closest name that I recall having seen is circle 2 tones by Neo Vision. So I really don't know if it is the same as what you bought. Anyway, the member who posted her photo did not specify the colour of her lenses so I put it in a general folder, but it looked gray to me: http://s252.photobucket.com/albums/hh11/so...le%202%20Tones/

yay thanks for the info. i agree that brown circle lenses should be more popular than black. i think they look more natural but they still give that widening effect. the corona looks really interesting. they probably don't color your eyes, do they?

there's a G&G BT02 and then there's a G&G II-tone, which some people call BT2. it's really confusing and i wish whoever was doing the naming didn't make them so similar. i don't like my BT02 at all, but i'm reordering the II-tone in brown and gray.
