has anyone ordered regular circle lens just with the dosage when they have astigmatism? for example, you have -3.00 but with astigmatism and you just ordered a -3.00 pair. and how is it? i heard someone ordered a level up so they would order -3.25/-3.50? help me!! i have astigmatism and i want a pair~
I don't think you should be asking us. You should go to your optometrist with this question. Besides, it is not recommended to go a level up, going a level up will give you headaches, if they do not have the power you are wearing, you are recommended to go down instead.

i agree. in fact, i thought people with astigmatism aren't supposed to wear regular circle lenses, or at least i had a friend who couldn't buy circle lenses because of that. i think G&G makes special astigmatism circle lenses, though.

The the astigmatism isn't that bad it's fine to wear them. My optometrist gave me the go ahead for lenses although I have an astigmatism in my left eye. She recommended though that I take them out and use glasses while driving at night.
(But you should still talk to your doctor! It varies for everyone)

You can check them out at the
Photo Index. The name of the subfolders are also the names of the products. Different brands have tear gray, what we have in the photo index so far are by Bescon (actually they name is free teen tear) and Migwang.
The floral series is better known as the angel series by Geo. Nudy is also by Geo. Tube brown is by G&G. Barbie series is actually the DB-31 series by Dueba. Hope that helped you out a little (:
I've never tried tube brown, but I've tried other lenses by G&G and they were uncomfortable for me. I had tear brown by Bescon and they were really comfortable.

2) The colour is made using a sandwiched technology thus the colour will not run into your eyes. Sandwich technology - colour is being sandwiched in between the lenses, thus it would not come in contact with your eyeballs. This will means that the colour will not affect your eyes as we have heard reports of coloured lenses running colours on ones’ eyes. Here is a illustration of what I’ve mean:

i think i might go for something more subtle this time. maybe C7 and Dali Brown.

i bought the Acuvue daily define circle lens
here is the packet xD

before (no i wasnt crying xD i dunno why my eyes look teary)

after

im wearing them the first time today and im not really used to them yet because they are thin and sometimes they move around and i need to blink to keep them in place ><
omgosh. saw some brown define acuvue last night at the mall. So i was like. whoa . why that one has a black ring?

lol. i know i get pretty stupid at times. I think i'm getting them

But its only one day.
okay so now i'm deciding between neo dali brown & hypa C7 black.
for anyone who has either, do the neo dali brown and the hypa have a diameter that's bigger than that of the tuttis?
cause i used to have tuttis, and i want my new lenses about that same size.

Also for Nudy Browns, are they like natural brown?
Cause in some pictures they look a bit ehh.
Also for Nudy Grey, is it natural looking?

Can't answer the other questions, but I can answer the last one. The difference between tear brown and crystal brown is actually the pattern on the lenses. But when you actually put them on, you can't really tell the difference.

but now, one side keeps hurting whenever i put it on.
i tried it on inside and out and checked for rips, but there seems to be nothing wrong.
what is it??
my mom thinks that its because since i used it, the color, or the ink on the contacts are coming off and going into my eye?
does the color on the contact likee come off ?? cus` that's really bad for your eyes i think,....
edit:: okaay i learned that the contacts are "sandwiched" so the color won't come off.

^probably it's dirty or there's protein build-up on that one?
similar thing happened to me, only one lens that didn't feel right.
i asked my hubby to look for rips since he's been wearing contacts for years. I don't know what to look. He said it looked fine.
so i just changed the contact lenses case to a new one, and rinse the lens w/ solutions, now that lens feels fine.

i don't have circle lenses but i assume the care is the same as normal contacts. it could be possible that that one lens needs to be cleaned better. make sure you rub the contact well enough with the cleaning solution.
or you might have a tiny tear at the edge of your contact that isn't easily noticeable when you look at the contact but is enough to bother your eye. i've had that happen with my contacts before. i had to look at the edges really carefully and with good lighting to notice the tear because it was so tiny. once it just looked like a piece the size of a needle tip was missing from the edge.
and protein and bacteria build up in your contact case too so make sure it's thoroughly cleaned or get a new contact case if you've used your case for awhile. if it's new from november then it shouldn't be too old.. i hope you figure it out!

i've realized that there aren't a lot pics of neo camel brown lens (aka neo 3-tone brown). i guess it is not very popular because the lens looks orange in ads. however when worn, it is a light honey brown. i actually was expecting a more orange color, but because of FALSE ADVERTISING, i was fooled. i recommend this lens to people who are looking for a vivid, light brown color.

for
yunaa8: i've only worn the lens for a few hours, but they seem comfortable. no irritation, redness, or dryness. they probably will get uncomfortable at 6-8 hours though, like most circle lens. i'll test this out.
i recommend this lens to people who have brown or reddish hair. the color of the lens clashes with my black hair.
also, i'd like to add that when i look at the lens, they are orange. but when i wear them, the orange disappears as it blends in with my dark eyes.

KiBUm_Love; So you're saying you're going to Korea and you're going to buy circle lenses.
And you're not going there until 2 years later? Is that what you're saying?
Well, yes, you can open ONE and use it for a year. The other one, you have to open before the
expiration date. Usually the expiration dates are 1-3 years later.
So you can open one, use it, it expires, open the other one, use it until it expires. Does it make sense?
And the most known comfortable lens is Geo Nudies.

Jan 14 2008, 08:47 AM
princess88: In my opinion if you intend on wearing the cosmetic lenses often it might be a better idea to get them in presciption instead. Otherwise if you plan on wearing them only occasionally, like say taking photos than there's minimal harm to that. Obviously just don't wear plano lenses for an extended amount of time because they can potentially worsen your vision.
On the other hand, if you generally need a presciption anyway than why not make wearing lenses fun and beneficial for your eyes? Personally I would not order any plano contacts myself because I don't see myself wearing them all that much... I don't like walking around with poor sight.
Nonetheless drive in them! o_O
