Vision is subjective to everyone. As you can tell from mmitsjojo's post, her vision didn't worsen after time. But if you read through previous pages, there are people who's eyesight did.

i must also say, i've worn color contacts for around 2 years +
maybe people has worn longer thats why their vision has changed.
i guess it just depends on the person.

but even if you just wear GLASSES, your vision can get worsen overtime, its not just contact lenses / circle lenses.
it really depends on the person.
its just an opition you take, no one is forcing anyone to wear any type of lenses.

sure everyone wants to look pretty & have bigger eyes, that's just gon' have to be the risk you gonna take if you choose to wear circle lenses.

i think i've been posting too much :x
gotta love the bordem lol.

i think i should say circle lenses are hard rather than soft, because its thicker than my color contacts (they're freshlook colorblends).
when you touch the circle lenses you can like feel the difference between the color contacts. lol i dont know if im explaining myself correctly.

I've had messiah browns which made my eyes look more hazel but now I have tutti black ring circle lenses
I'm thinking of getting some tutti greys or tear grey's but I can't decide

Heres a before and after in my tutti black ring

after:

I like your 'before' eyes.
your 'after' eyes look dead and gloomy, no sparks (the white dots just like the 'before' pic) ... i guess it's just the lighting mellow.gif

Hey,
I am wearing contact lens for myopia correction. I used proclear and acuvue advance which both are for dry eyes. Which brands of circle lens are you guys recommend for people with dry eyes or people that wear contact lens for long hours (8-10+ hrs).
Do we have a poll for which brand is the most comfy?
should I start one?

which one do you guys think is better, tear blues or tear grays?

depends on what look you're going for
like i said before (and so many other people too)
tear blues would stand out more

I haven't found any information about circle lenses relating to myopia, so I'd talk to an optometrist about circle lenses before even considering them.

Tear Blues are very cute and a bit more noticceable than Tear Greys, but it's more obvious you are wearing lenses. Tear greys are nice too -- check out ANGiEE's modeled pictures of her tear greys.

Yup, I know that G&G makes specific circle lenses for astigmatism. As for other brands, you'll have to research them on their company website.

but most of the time, the power from 0.00 - 6.00 is in 0.25 steps
and 6.00 - 10.00 is in 0.50 steps (roughly.. correct me if i'm wrong!)

and although i suggest that you don't get circle lenses if your eyesight is REALLY bad,
if you're confident enough to take good care of them, i don't see why not =)
just be careful^^

i asked this in some other forum before, but yea, on my perscription it says BC is 8.3, I wonder if i buy these circles lenses with different BC, is dat alrighttt?? thankss
♡ aRi C. ♡
^
my optometrist has told me that 99.999999% of the time. base curve doesnt really matter with soft lenses.
unless theres a biggggg difference. because most manufactures make their product to be either 8.4 or 8.6 BC

i think if u are 8.3 u might have slight astigmatism?

Its okay to try out something different but try to stick to 8.40. if it bothers you dont wear it anymore.
Batgirl
how slight is the diff in 8.4 and 8.6? Because i cant at the moment go to my optometrist to get fitted but i do know that when i wear my g&gs the slide a little when i blink. And like ari said, they typically give u 8.6 standard. Should i get 8.4? To keep it from sliding? Coz its keeping me from wearing them. Coz all the sliding is irritating my eyes. Or i think it is. Coz after like 1 hr of wearing it outside my eyes feel dry adn tired. Then after 3 hrs they get pink. Its odd because if im sitting in my room wearin them, they dont get that irritated.....O_o

my experience:

my base curve = 8.5 and my diameter is 14.2.
i ordered freshlook color blends contacts and tutti brown circle lens

- freshlook color blends (b.c. 8.6 and diameter 14.5)
yes i can wear them fine and the color is nice. HOWEVER i had cloudy vision when i wore them (something i don't have when i wear my normal contact lens)... so yes diameter does matter. it was like the colored part was covering my pupil or something. .. ahh a waste of money

- tutti brown circle lens (b.c. 8.2 and diameter 14.0) <- i think
they're perfectly fine smile.gif i guess the difference isn't toooo big here...so that's why

Thanks happy.gif. Hmm, it really depends on the lighting. It usually just looks solid black, unless the light is shining directly into your eyes. But the lenses themselves aren't even solid black. The black part only goes around the edge, leaving clear space in the middle. (That's why you can see the natural color of my eyes through them).

I think I'll take another picture in normal lighting and post that one up too. ^^;

i think someone wanted to see lenses in different lighting... i decided to put together a bunch of pics of my aryan tear greys in various lights.

`LANE
so what would the difference be for me, if my Focus Monthly lenses BC is 8.9 & diameter is 14.0 and Tuttis are BC 8.6 ?

what brand is it that tear lenses come from ? Bescon ?

kyungxah
weee i just noticed my pic was posted in the first post >.< harhar..

okay i have a couple of questions.
thanks to inexplicableromance i was looking around this site with circle lens.

and im confused....with these circle lenses....

G&G Black T01
G&GAmie Black 1
G&G Black 1
I-Fax Black
I-Fac Black ring

they all look same in pics -_-? i dont get how they look diffrent? is there like some kind of different effect when u wear them? i mean yea i see the different designs the G&G Black T01 compared to the I-Fax, the I-Fax makes ur eye look bigger..or is it jsut me? cos i really want the BIG BLACKKKK DOLLLL EYE effect..so which lenses do u guys prefer??? hahaah okay.

does n e one have any accurate clear with flash pics of these lenses?

and also in the first post, like all the uhlzzangs (mikki, vicky chinese net idol, zia li)..do you know wut kind of lenses they are wearing? esp mikki~~?

okay, well i have another pic i took today with my tear greys on -_-;

I have no idea whats going on with what you said. Coz i know nothing about contacts O_o

i guess what im asking is. I have g&g lenses. When i wear them, i blink and i can see them slide a little over my pupil. If i blink hard enough it'll look cloudy for a second. If i got a small base curve would it solve my problem? Would going from 8.6 to 8.4 be cool to kinda minimize the sliding?

I wanna get tear greys next. Only one brand makes it? or which brand is the most comfortable. I'm n00b to the max about this.
ix3katz
^ yah ok i pretty much had that problem but not with circle lens..but i think it's the same
do you know what your base curve and diameter are? for normal contact lens
i don't think the base curve makes too much of a diff... i think its more like the diameter
maybe try contacts with smaller diameter (or whatever matches your actual diameter for normal contact lens)
Batgirl
I dont wear regular contacts, and i dont plan on doing so. I cant go to my optometrist =X
So this s basically for my circle lens information

what largely affects the comfort level when wearing contacts is the base curve.. the diameter is more of the coverage while the base curve concerns the curvature[sp?] of your eyes..
Batgirl
so if it IS sliding, is it ok for me to request for a 8.4? =D
Like i was scared if i went form 8.6 to 8.4 it would end up being too tight? Or whatever phrase is used for that
I was hoping if there was a person who wore 8.6 and 8.4 and felt a difference. Coz im tired of having red dry irritated eyes
♡ aRi C. ♡
okay so if the base curve is 8.4 is it more CURVED than the 8.6? or less curved?

i think the bigger the number the more curved they are. so if your lenses are sliding im guessing that its TOO BIG or too looose so you would have to get something more curved.

so if u are wearing 8.6 and its looose then try to get something like..8.8??

but then it also could be that you have astigmatism. its like ur eyeballs are flat. thats why its not fitting. so u might want to get something like 8.3 or 8.2 or something.

well you should really try going to the optometrist if u dont want to keep wasting money on buying lenses that dont even fit.

ive tried many many many different lenses with many different diameters and curvatures and what nots and nothing ever bothered me so i really dont know what to tell u.
kyungxah
okay i dont think anyone read my post so im just gonna re post it again. and i really need these questions answered please T_T >.<~~!

okay i have a couple of questions.
thanks to inexplicableromance i was looking around this site with circle lens.

and im confused....with these circle lenses....

G&G Black T01
G&GAmie Black 1
G&G Black 1
I-Fax Black
I-Fac Black ring

they all look same in pics sleep.gif? i dont get how they look diffrent? is there like some kind of different effect when u wear them? i mean yea i see the different designs the G&G Black T01 compared to the I-Fax, the I-Fax makes ur eye look bigger..or is it jsut me? cos i really want the BIG BLACKKKK DOLLLL EYE effect..so which lenses do u guys prefer??? hahaah okay.

does n e one have any accurate clear with flash pics of these lenses?

and also in the first post, like all the uhlzzangs (mikki, vicky chinese net idol, zia li)..do you know wut kind of lenses they are wearing? esp mikki~~?

okay, well i have another pic i took today with my tear greys on sleep.gif;

i wear my acuvue oasys daily...which is like super super comfy!! and i love them
and then if i want to switch to circle lenses. circle lenses would be like super uncomfy :| i hate that xD
i cant wear them for more than 2 hours or so or else my eyes would die
