Depends of you have light/medium/dark brown eyes. For a natural look on light or medium colored eyes, go with two or three toned. Try Tutti Premium (Three colored). Barbie Blue are also nice on lighter eyes because you can actually see the dark blue/black combo (it gets really lost with dark brown eyes. I think Dueba makes them?
My eyes are in between Medium-Dark. What's the difference b/w the tones? Ha, I'm thinking I should get green instead, blue might look a bit too unnatural on me >_>

I'll look at the ones you wrote, thanks.
BTW, so the best brand is Tutti?

Not as "light" as the scary complete-whiteout lenses JRockers wear---but just the most dramatic, even if the effect is very unnatural.

hmm... I'm guessing lighting plays a big part in the appearance of lens. (esp. in certain pictures)
Eyes can be very deceiving--That's why it's best to refer to pictures of actual people rather than the model the manufacturer/seller displays.
ix3katz, how do they look anyway? Personally, I think brown is the most attractive color of Tuttis. (I have not yet tried them, but I'd like an opinion)

So you wear "plano lenses"?
I'd advise you to make an appointment with an eye doctor to get your eyes checked and fitted with actual Rx lenses.
(It may seem like a hassle, but it's definitely worth it, you may not know for sure if your eyes have changed or not)
After all, this is your vision we're talking about
--it's too precious to risk it.
Not to mention in the U.S it is under law that an individual must obtain a valid presciption.
(even if the lenses are plano, or otherwise known as non-presciption)

Apr 26 2007, 05:04 PM
so the contacts fit over the white part of your eye? huh... but the diameter of my eyes are 4.2 and the diameter of the contacts are 4.0 so doesn't that mean that the contact lens would be smaller than my eye rather than take up space in the white part of my eye? i'm confused by that...
xxj3zz1kuhxx
Apr 26 2007, 06:13 PM
the diameter is usually 14.0
Joob
Apr 27 2007, 03:32 AM
^i understand that, but one of the members here said that the contacts take up the white space in the eye, but if the diameter of my eye is larger than the diameter of the contacts, then the contacts would obviously not touch the white parts of my eye... so does that mean that the circle lens are useless to my eye or something?

Apr 27 2007, 05:09 AM
^different brands/lines of contact lenses have different base curves. so it's virtually impossible to check if the base curves are a good fit.
that is, unless you go to your optom with the circle lenses worn on(that aren't bought from their store) and have them look at the fitting..
but.. would most optom's do this?

More info on this:
http://www.allaboutvision.com/contacts/col...tacts-bills.htmUm...they're not plano lenses (I just looked up their definition because I was like plano? what? xD) They're corrective lenses. I'm near-sighted, which means the image is refracted past my eyeball because it's "too long". So by wearing the lenses at night, it temporarily pushes back my eyeball, giving 20/20 vision.
It hasn't changed my eyeball, because the doctor said that if my eyeball did change, the lenses wouldn't work anymore.
=O
So I'm guessing it's okay for me to wear these things? With certain limits obviously ^^;;
I need a prescription??? That's so weird...

But honestly, how many people have prescriptions for these??

Oh, I'm near-sighted too.
hmm... I'm almost positive the presciption is on your contact lens box, or presciption paper the eye doctor gave you. If not, it's best to call up the office and ask for your information.
btw, you're referring to the lenses you received by appointment not circle lens right?
What is the brand called?
If you wanted to order circle lens it would be better to order them in Rx rather than non-presciption.
(Otherwise your vision could potentially be altered)
