I find their songs really catchy and sounds a bit refreshing from all the emo music I heard when they just came out
But I generally like them now.. I got over them ever since the end of last summer

But nonetheless easy to listen songs, catchy rythms,

They're a catchy band.
My friend is in love with them so we go see them whenever they're in town. They're getting so big, which is good for them but bad for their egos.

listen to their music first, and then maybe,

For some reason I just can't get into this band. I like them and all... but they just sound too.... "cute". >.< Especially in "Curse of Curves".

A little over 6 months ago I decided I was going to stay home from touring. I was over working for bands because I missed being in one. Less than a month later, out of the blue, I received a phone call asking me to play bass in Cute Is What We Aim For. I accepted the offer. I was given a great opportunity to travel the world and play in front of hundreds of new faces each night. At first when I joined the band everything was great and everyone seemed happy. But shortly after, I started having some personal issues with another member. I've tried to just ignore the problems, but the truth is, I'm just not happy at all.

This is a decision that I've been debating for weeks. Even as I was getting ready to tell the guys, I was still wondering if I was making the right decision. But I've finally decided that it's in my best interest to leave this band as soon as possible. It's a matter of principle and to me, being in the band just isn't worth what I have to deal with.

In the past 6 months I've had some great experiences, met some amazing people and made many good friends. So, to anyone that has come out to a show, or anyone that has supported me, thank you.

It's pretty obvious the other member is Shaant because he's known as the diva of the band, and he's also the reason Cute first broke up when they were starting out.

And what I meant by cute, was kiddy/really emo in the lead singers vocals. It's not bad, it's just excess/exaggeration of what I'm used to hearing.

Like lyrical lies said, bottom left corner is Shaant (Hacikyan), and he's just lead vocals.

Upper left is Tom Falcone, and he's the drummer. I agree he is ADORABLE.
Next to him is Fred Cimato, who is actually Tom's cousin, and he used to be the bassist before he left due to personal issues (LOL, with SHAANT).
He was replaced by Jack Marin whose picture I've posted below. Jack is my personal favorite. He's the former bassist of October Fall (before he was kicked out because he didn't fit the group's image, meaning he was too scene). He also was tour manager for Panic! at the Disco and Hellogoodbye during Warped Tour.

And then bottom right is Jeff Czum who founded Cute with Shaant, and he's the guitarist.

You also have to take into account that having to deal with teenies day in and day out probably does get tiring after a while.

I used to like them a bit much (decent amount of love) when I first got their CD (got it for free), but after listening to the album ~5 times, you sort of get sick of it. The songs suddenly start sounding the same and out of nowhere, it feels as if the songs morphed together into one, ridiculously long song. Ahh.. however, their songs do sound cute, so I guess they hit their mark.



Ew.. Panic!.. Panic! at the Disco and Fall Out Boy are way too annoying (I strongly dislike the vocals).

I, and most of the people around me, refer to them as Cute. Otherwise, yeah CIWWAF is the standard short form.

Ugh, I was seriously heartbroken when I found out Jack had left. Right now Fred is back, finishing the tour with the band, but then they're recruiting a new bassist.
Jack is one of those kids who you get mixed reactions with. He's never been anything but nice the few times we've managed to corner him because he's shy and runs to the tour bus as soon as their set is over, but then you get the kids who say he's mean because he's not very talkative.
But if you just mention his cat Vader or the band Danzig (whose logo he has tattooed across his stomach), he will love you forever. The one time my friends and I mentioned Vader, he just stood there talking about his cat for hours; it was the cutest thing.

I agree "I Don't Care if It's the Moon, We'll Go" is such a great song. It's a shame they're not allowed to play it because that is the one song of theirs I would kill to hear live.

Why aren't they allowed to play it?

It was written while Shaant and Jeff were in their pre-Cute band Cherrybing. When Shaant and Jeff formed Cute, they took "I Don't Care if It's the Moon..." with them, and their former band members accused them of stealing their song. Shaant claims he is the one who wrote the lyrics and melody and therefore Cherrybing has no right to claim ownership, but in order to avoid drama, Cute doesn't play the song live anymore.
