i saw a commercial for it the other night and it was hottttt. (imo, lol.) but it sucks that i don't have cable here though!!><;;

Stuffy English ppl who are sexual frustrated... always sexy. Caught bits and pieces here and there, but didn't get into it.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is hot! But will the Tudors cover new ground other than just offering sex and rolling heads? Guess there'll be some good acting with Sam Neill, Jeremy Northam in the cast.

i am a fan of the tudors..... why because although historically inaccurate, who doesn't love a good looking king of england, JRH is awesome as henry, he makes me believe that he wasn't just this fat guy who was obsessed with having a son, but a deeper person and a major hottie...

and seriosly i'm not watching it for history but for pure unadulterated enjoyment... who doesn't like shows with british aristocracy schtupping everyone..

I loveeeeeeeee this song. It's so interesting to watch. Meyers is so freakin` hot. Its just kinda weird to see them portray Henry VIII as a sexy guy. Because he's pretty ugly. I saw the first 2 episodes. I can't wait to see the rest. It's a really good show.

Yeah. Same for me. I really don't care if it's historically inaccurate. They bring the livelier and more intense version of the story!

It's a pity I'm too cheap to spring for cable. Thus, me not being able to see the sexy Jonathan Rhys Meyers. Oh well.

It is quite a shock, though...to see Henry VIII portrayed as attractive. He's usually unbearably ugly.

okay i was reading some of the post and umm if you don't have cable or showtime in particular go to showtime.com, they have eps we can stream and watch... all else fails veoh and go fish.

although just curious anyone have any problems that its inaccurate and takes a lot of creative license????

I usually have problems with historical inaccuracies and that does affect my opinion of a show. Especially if the creative team has an agenda or particular slant on things. (e.g. the movie Elizabeth)

hmm I think that I like this show...I hope it gets a little bit better, though...some of the scenes (i.e. not party/sex scenes) w/that cardinal or whoever are kinda boring

I love the subway ads for this show. Very clever, if anyone's seen them. The only thing is...I couldn't really enjoy it so much because in the end, he orders her head chopped off. So really, even if it's very sexy and whatnot, the whole time, that's what I'll be thinking about. lol

Gah, am I the only one who's obsessed with Anne Boleyn? She's simply amazing. Beauty, wits, guts, brains, everything!!! It makes me sad to think that soon Henry will execute her for a blonde bimbo - -;

ok i admit i was watched this at first for JRM but now the more i look at him, the more he's not hot anymore lol. henry cavill on the other hand...wow.

im on ep 5 of season 1...its good but i don't really like king henry. someone mentioned before that JRM gave a deeper meaning to henry VIII than some man who's obsessed with having a son. really, i don't see it. so far he's just a young, lusty, tantrum-throwing pinkberry who can bang any chick in england...and beyond. i have yet to see him so anything king-ly

maybe i just need to keep watching ha.
i love the history during this time period though. not so much henry VIII, but his children mary, elizabeth and edward

So I saw the official trailer for Season 1 on youtube last week and I was like "is it all about the sex?". Because it seemed so. And then watched some more fanvideos and trailers and I thought maybe not and wanted to see more. I was always interested in history and I had a lot of times. So downloaded and watched all 3 seasons of it and I must say it was good but the 3rd season wasn't just the same without Natalie Dormer. (Who doesn't know her real name, she was Anne Boleyn in Season 1-2.) She and JRM did a good job playing their characters that were my faves. And JRM is even hotter in the 2nd season

The last, 4th season is scheluded to air in Spring 2010. I'll probably watch that as well (I just don't want to miss it after I saw 3 seasons. lol), but who knows how interesting it'll be. :/

Btw, bloopers from Season 1 can be found on youtube and I totally recommend everyone to check them out. They're hilarous

gosh i love this show!!!!! i'm been meaning to watch the new season and yes Jonathan Rhys Meyers is john teshing hot portraying Henry who isn't attractive in the first place but did an execellent job playing such a jerkface bubble gum. anyway i really like the girl who played Anne Boleyn, she did an amazing job. Now i just need to pick up o the series.

I love Jonathan Rhys Meyers, but I can't handle so many women all over him.
