aw i love your nails. you kno the part where its under your purple tips. its like the pink part of your nails. i wish that part of my nails were longer @.@

i can't keep long fingernails....so i rarely paint my nails

After I put on nailpolish and leave it on for a week or so.. I take it off using the remover and I realize my nail on my thumb is broken There's like a slit half way through the nail... is it not strong enough? Anything to cure this problem?

^my nails are weak too and my mom bought me Nail Envy by OPI. it works pretty well, my nails are a lot stronger now. i just coat them once a week, hope it works for you

I use OPI but it's the Nail Lacquer ( Is that how you spell it, haha)..
Is the Nail Envy a nail polish COLOR or is it just clear

yeah..the 3d paint things are cool!!

but really hard to work with!! they looked smooshed together..but.. they're awesome once you get the hang of it..

Daisyblu89: yeah... when i first did it! they pushed back my cuticles which hurt like hell but.. they looked so nice.. the guy even painted on the silver line because it was on my hs graduation day!! he painted on the white part too! instead of airbrushing!! it was awesome! the guy also burned my cuticle with the little rotating sanding thing.. but i only tipped him $5.. ^^;;... anywho.. looks nice!! french tips... are always in..so you dont really have to worry about style!! haha!

omg how does everyone do their french nail tips so well O_O have any secrets~? hahaha

i tried using tape and cutting it the shape and then painting OVER them only leaving the nail part... but eh, that kinda ruined the surface of my nails ;;

^there's actually tape for french tip.. the nail salon guy..has a mighty steady hand for doing free handed french tips.. but these tip guides are very helpful..

i do my own french tips free handed.. even though its pretty sloppy i could care less..^^;;..

the tip guides don't have a strong adhesive so it won't destroy the top layer of your nails...some of the nails you buy also includes the guides..but the guides can also be sold seperately!

hey girls, I happened to be doing a survey right now for japanese style nails. Do you guys think $20-$25 shipped is a good price for those nails? Cuz I know Japanese websites sell them for a lot more.. Just some feedback would be nice since you girls are hte nail experts =)

edit: i only need 10-14 sets order so if you order two or more, it won't take long to process order, obviously the more the cheaper rite? anyhow yes they're the same nails from the same website as darling

___l0vE`y0u..: the designs are AWESOME. mm. they last as long as all my other nails. maybe cause i do hard work (i sell shoes @ nine west and i carry HELLA shoe boxes and big boxes) but they are still on (most of them except for my thumb (nail glue came off) so yeah) -- also depends on what kind of nail glue u use. if the brand that you use isn't good. it takes a while for it to glue onto ur nail.

^dip your whole nail into a bowl of nail polish remover.
or easier way -- dip your whole hand into it.

it will be easier to remove --- btw, it should naturally come off in like 3 days. or if u did a good job, 5-7 days.

but yeah. OR u can just pull it off the nails -- haha, like me.
