^ when you say two coats do you mean let them dry?

yea.
like if i was doing a pink fade:
1) paint 1 coat of pink, top 1/3 of nail. let it dry
2) paint 2nd coat of pink, top 1/3 of nail. let it dry
3) paint 3rd coat of pink, top 1/3 of nail, don't let it dry, right away, swipe clear nailpolish downwards from top of nail ^^ its supposed to fade the pink a bit~

stardust i have tried the sally hansen nail growth... i guess it works pretty well... it made my nails tougher. i liked it.

I have a question. o.o What brand of nail polish do you guys use? I'm currently trying out OPI nail polish, but it's like... hecka expensive. $11.25 CAD per bottle? >_< Know any better brand which sell for less?

i just replied in the thread that this question came from but yeah, it basically dissolves the fake nails...there really isnt a way to keep the fake nails (unless they were the press on with the sticky tape kind). but yeah, acetone soak for 5 minutes or more.

I have always wondered but how do you keep the tip in a clean curved line?
Like my ones always have bumps in it or something -__-.
For design on my friends nail, she uses Liquid Eye liner then goes over it with clear Nail varnish o0

^ I think for the curve line, if you want a perfect curve you could use the tape and it`s cheap, I think you could find anywhere.

thefaceshop has a lot of shades along those lines... ^^ really pretty flattering shades...^^

actually..alot of the girls here do it too..the more creative nails are the ones worn on most of the black girls.. i remember some of them get glass nails..and one girl came into my old work place with this cute 3d acrylic bow on her ring finger...some how their nails always match their outfits too..

i had a friend that had dices coming out of her nail..

its get around 50 here too.. but it depends on the quality...some girls are really picky with the quality of the designer..
