I just bought a new set of acrylic nails for only AU$6.95. It's pretty cheap. At first I wanted to buy Nailene/Finger's ones that cost above AU$12, but I just can't seem to find the correct sizes for me. Now I learn that brand and price doesn't always mean it's better.



I'm going to add some stones to make it look like this:


I know the tips of my new acrylic nails aren't as long/wide as the picture above, but yeah, I'm gonna do something similar to it. I can't function properly if my nails are too long!

you NEVER rip your gel nails off. it damages your natural nails.

i used to have that nails like 3 or 4 week ago .. hehe ... i just change it go blue and white flower ... ^-^

Ah, I was just looking at this yesterday at Kinokuniya! I recognize the last scan.
I love the Hangry & Angry one as well. The chain and the characters would have to be the best features.
I also like the one by Algonquins. The gun is what caught my eye.
The furry one by 6%dokidoki is interesting. I wonder how that would look on a person...

I've been doing my nails for awhile now but I never remember to take a picture.

Anyhow~ here's my set for the next two weeks hopefully...the pictures kind of blurry but it's the best that I can do. (._.) One of my favourite type of designs~

Clear tip + airbrush pale pink + gel & mixed glitter set. I don't think you can tell in the pictures but this design & colour combination is really good if you like something natural...in real life the colour looks just like really healthy nails. I can get away with this at work! Haha.

thanks for all the comments ^yes i did them myself. I used the tape for the tips and then konard for the stars. the jewels were stickers that i placed directly on my nail :]

i'm going to be getting my nails done tomorrow (i should have posted earlier >.< ) and i have some questions. I've had my nails done before by a friend and they were reallyy nice. They were black tips with silver lining. This time, I want to get my nails done fancier than last time with pretty flowers or sparkly things added.. so i have a few questions.

1. Which nail place do you usually go to? An Asian place or do American places also do these fancy designs?
The only dilemma I have with going back to my friend's place is that her place only has really natural tones.. (more like old lady colors) Nothing out of the ordinary like orange, blue or a NICE PINK.. >.<

2. Do you tell the person doing your nails what kind of design you want or is there a book or something and you choose which design you want?

3. How much does it usually cost you (with the designs, acrylics, and french tips on the bottom)

im in san francisco, and its bout 40 bucks to get it done @ noriega.hella expensive but its hella nice. and they have a big book of HELLA designs that they have done b4
