i buy them for 3 dollars each
but essie were also 3 dollars
china glaze are 2 for 3 dollars
and those topical color brand are only a dollar each
i usually buy opi only ~ i haven't tried other brand

the base nail polish was in a not so good consistency so it affected the whole look .. TT____TT but it's oki.. i still like it.. it took me like 30 minutes...

heh...u cant. u let them grow out and then u cut them...until theyve FINALLY grown out...yeah. it borthersome.

anyone know where i can get nail tape?
i tried using regular tape & i'm using black nail polish, it would i think drip under the tape and so my whole nail would end up getting black.
i heard though, the nail tape, that it gets messed up sometimes. i would think so too because if it dried up and you took the tape off wouldn't it crack the rest of the polish?

it shouldn't crack....

anyway u can get nail tape at any drugstore..i live in canada so i dunno places in the states

I know I asked this before, but I forgot if anyone answered or not.

If I buy those sets that people sell on Soompi, are they easy to take off? I don't want it to be like acrylics where pretty much my whole nail was ripped off when they pryed that thing off my nail.

Just a question, is there any way of getting rided of gel french tips? Or do I have to wait and just grow them out. My cousin told me that if I cut it, the gel can crack and get infected. My mom [whose trying to get her license to do nails..] said I would have to soak them in like polish remover for like 30 mins...

So what should I do?

ummm there's like a special solution/liquid thing u can buy that dissolves nail glue~ u can buy it in drugstores in the nail section
i guess it depends on how much glue u used in the first place... sometimes i find that they sorta damage my actual nails when i take them off
just soak your nails in the solution for longer n they'll come loose


btw..how much are u guys willing to pay for these??? i just found a place that sells a lot of nail supplies
1) nail piercer
2) those golden balls (not half...it's like a mini ball) u stick to ur nails for decoration
3) 3D nail art pens (there's solid and also glittery!)
4) nail glue pen
5) this has nothing to do with nails but.. false lashes with glue?

So I have to get my nails done for a dinner party but I never really got a manicure because I always hated the smell of those shops. I don't want to get acrylics because I have really weak nails so it would hurt to get them off. What would I need to tell the painter what to do?

Honey, you forgot to fill it in. That looks pretty bad - sorry for being so blunt.

But you need to fill in the empty spot between the tip and your actual nail with either gel or acrylic.
That just looks weird and unfinished.

im` l0vEd: that's how i do it too-- if i need to use those 3d nail pens --i do the designs on a piece of plastic.. then when it dries i apply them to the nails..before sticking them on my nails..

but i wouldn't really care if my nails were perfect.. as long as they're pleaseable to me.. from far away they'll look nice anyway..haha.. if they see them..my sister always wants me to do her nails perfect -- i don't think i mind it much though.. i love designing and doing the nails too!

Just wanting to share some pics.
I usually like to go really subtle- like shades of pinks, french manicure looks, occassionally a little bit of designs, and when I feel in the mood, BLACK! lol

here's what i asked the nail artist to design for me when i was japan. Costed almost 100 US dollars to do =T But i really liked it and it lasted me almost a month becuase they used Kal-Gel which is super strong and dries under UV light. I asked for glitter gradation which is glitter starting heavy at the tip and fading towards the other end of the nail. The rhinestones and flower were cute =]]] But girls, the thing with getting kal-gel is that you have to watch how you get it removed- just to let you know =)
