ahaha thanks. yea, he's really good. his immediate family owns like 3 nail shops. i don't even know how many his relatives own... he's the second best nail person in his family, although he's the youngest. he can cut hair too. muahaha i'm so lucky aren't i??

they can't compare but i tho they were pretty cute; haha

I read in a magazine once that you can get rid of some of the yellowing by mixing
hydrogen peroxide and baking soda into a paste, then sort of rub it on and leave for 10 minutes.
Plus it buffs.
Just thought it might help some people. ^^

I've never had my nails done as well as when my Ex boyfriend paints them... His family owned a salon too, and he's really good (though his sister was just omgwtfbbqawesome)

Just a question for everyone, for those that paint their own nails (not fake ones), where do you buy your crystals/pearls/rhinestones?

I was just wondering, cuz ive never usd a base coat before, is it supposed to be really watery?
or like is the base coat supposed to be kinda thick-sh?
becasue i bought one and its really watery, and like when i dries,
it doesnt look like itll make a difference if i put it on, or of i dont put it on.

It depends on what salons you go to to get pedicures and manicures.
I've been to different types.

The cheapest place I've been to charges $10. But most of the time, they usually charge around $20-$30 for a pedicure or manicure.

And for your picture, I suppose you could just ask for a regular acrylic tips. Unless silk is another style that I'm not familiar with? I can't tell if those are her real nails, though. If they are her real nails, then you could ask for a french manicure.

i went to get my nails done. I got them gel and frenched of course. I wanted them to line right underneath the white with rhinestone like on 2 or 3 fingers but they said it would be too ugly coz it would be all bumpy. LOL if only they saw this thread. She ended up talking me into doing a silver glitter line. It looks nice, more conservative. Customers have been telling me they like it though so its cool i guess

my friend and i were walking all around tsim sha tsui trying to find nail places but they were ALL full!! omg, almost passed out from heat stroke. so yeah, next time we must remember to book lol.

im AUstralian.. i would like to buy some plates hahaa.. your nails are relaly nice.. when i do mine it doesnt work that well. and does yours last? do you put clear vanish over it so it last longer.. when i try putting on clear varnish the image smudges...

^ you have to make sure its completely dry and you dont apply it too much~ in the least amount of strokes

yeh that happened to me at the start too .. i watched the video on the konad website and it sed to not do too many strokes.. like 2 only, max 3 and really quickly aswell! and like BR1TT4NYy sed, it has to be completely dry ^^it lasts way longer if you put a top coat and it looks better aswell =)
