now, just wondering how everyone can shape their nails so perfectly?
my nails are like square at one side and rounded at the other O_O
and no matter what i do, i can't get them to be perfect XD
(in my case, near-perfect shall be close enough ^^;; )

I just paint them, I don't use nail tape.
My nails have weird curves, the curves are deeper.
The tape have flatter curves, so they don't work for my nails.

I paint the white part with the white nail polish from Sally Hansen French Manicure Kit.



I like this nail polish because the brush has pointy tip, similar to the pointy liquid eyeliner brush, so it's easier to paint the white part, I've more control, and make almost no mistakes.

hey what nail polish brand do u guys reccomend for pretty/vivid colors??? cuz..like all the brands I buy the color looks bright in the bottle but when i apply it on my nails it turns out so light n i have to apply lots of coats to make the color noticeable

you can use acetone.
just read the back of a nail polish remover.

the top part i line it with silver nail polish and then using the white nail polish to create a flower look and then silver dot in the middle.

WOW, your nails are REAL long. i like them, it looks cool. i try to color my nails, but i keep moving so mucb it never dries TT_TT nad my hands is steady that much enough

I think sephora nail polish looks really good. i have the black and hotpink ones, and they look exactly like whats in the bottle when you use it on your nails (the black sometimes takes 2 coats, and the hotpink only takes 1 coat) . it's only $4 ($5 if you live in canada).

XD the sides of my nails are like... flaking off or something O_o;;; so i think buffing them would get rid of them? hahah. I just came back from a VERY long trip to
Vietnam ^0^ I got my nails done twice there
it was sooo pretty but then the clear nail polish
turned white...not clear o.O...after a few days
and the gel they used there damaged my nails
badly =[...anyhow i loved the designs =]

First Design:
cost $8 CAD to do (mani + pedi)
...was pricey because of the rhinestones







Second Design:
cost $ 4-5 CAD (mani + pedi)

You can use lemon or lime juice and
spread it on your nails/toes. Just cut
the lemon in pieces and rub it on your
toes =]. The acid will kill the bacteria ^0^

So I was super bored today and on VH1 they had the Fabulous Life of London, and I saw that there's this manicure that's goes for $32,000. O_O;; I think it has diamonds (9 karats), sapphires, and rubies.

Tried to do black tips.

those are done with acrylic powders (a polymer)
you also need an oval nail art brush (prices do range from about $15 - $100)
and some monomer
& thats basically it hope that helped
