Black nails; purple french tip; black poka dots; acrylic bow. <3

I did this for a halloween party that I went to yesterday.. it was to match my eye make-up... I was a witch.

Dior, how did you do the polka dots? That's freaking awesome! unforunately, I have trouble doing ONE color on my nails lol

I was wondering... With fake nails? You know the kind you buy in packets of 24... Can you put them on [ they're preglued btw], take them off, and then put them on again?

Use the back of a toothpick ( the flat round end) , dip it in a bit of nail polish, and then dot on the dots slowly.



I don't think you can if they're preglued.
If they weren't then I guess you can cause they're not damaged or anything.
But if its preglued then I don't know. The glue might not be sticky.
Re-enforce it again if you like the design. ^^

Hi. I have a question considering my cuticles. Their so ugly and kind of dark brown in colour and sometimes dry, what does that mean and how can I get rid of it? I use hand cream as well but it doesn’t seem to help Any suggestions?

^ get a cuticle clipper. make sure it's hella sharp.

after a warm shower, all the cuticles turn soft, so right after the shower, cut them carefully. i totally forgot to make a tutorial on this for someone!! ahh! but i can't do it cause im in the dorms currently...

1st attempt using the Konad.

I think I used like half of the bottle
It's hard to make the whole image stick on the stamper thingie. Need practice heh
Some of the images took me at least half of dozen of tries.

Konad nail polish takes a long time to dry,
The images on the pinky and ring finger are ruined after I applied clear top coat.

So, I sprayed it with a cooking oil.

It really works.
I sprayed w/ the cooking oil spray, and then rinsed with water. The konad paint dried instantly.

~ BunnyliciouS ~ thanks for that oil tip, I shall try that since I always ruin the image with the top coat >< I found out that if you scrape the image quickly and then roll the stamper over, you tend to get the whole image ^^

^ I had my konad for a few months now. I ordered more plates for it off a website and it was 5 plates for 20$. Anyways, i ordered the plates that had really nice french tip designs (leopard, stripes, stars, etc). But they all ended up looking horrible because they're so hard to stamp correctly.

^ Yeah, it's hard to do the regular images, I imagine it's extremely hard to do the french tips, but they look so good >.< *shrug*

^do you girls use or need the image plate holder? at first i wanted one, but i just place the plates on newspaper instead. Just wondering if the holder makes any significant difference.

i dont think the holder is necessary, its just used to prevent the plate from slipping

the Konad website also says that you shouldn't use the nail polish to paint your whole nails because it won't dry.

Since the weather is getting really warm down in Australia, i figured bold and funky colours would be good.

that konad this seems almost impossible. I literally have to pour polish on the plate

yeah, I was like that too the first time.



First time, I positioned the image horizontally,
and then moved the stamp left and right as shown.
This way, when I lifted the stamp, the image didn't stick on the stamp completely no matter how many times I tried.


The last time I did it, I positioned the image diagonally.
Put the stamp on top of the image, and moved it up and down once as shown in the picture.
and then lifted up the stamp quickly.
When I do it this way, the whole image sticks on the stamp flawlessly

Bunny: You did a pretty good job! I always have trouble when I want to do a red design, because the stamp is red, so you can barely see the design on the stampper.

I went konad crazy for awhile, and then I ended up giving it to my mom. Lols.

Now I'm kinda sad after seeing the contest pictures =(.

i got bored, and my mom came home with jewels from her work : ) so why not !: D
