You guys know that most nail polish are toxic, right? :\ And some of it does absorb through the skin. Some common chemicals contain DBP (which deforms male fetuses and accumulates in the body), and toluene and formaldehyde (both extremely toxic carcinogens). The worst offender is OPI.

I recommend Revlon (follows EU standards for makeup) and L'Oreal Quick Dry. Get a complete list from EWG (Google it). I love you ladies, so take care of your health >_>;;;

tip for konad'ers: tried konad stamps/plates w/ nailpolishes that aren't "konad" and...relatively cheap. they work! of course, to different degrees.

my findings:
the older, thicker, quicker drying = TRANSFERS BETTER
the one that worked the best so far: Rimmel 60 sec vinyl shine nailpolishes, came out perfect w/o effort..seriously :|
ones that look REALLY PRETTY: metalics (revlon) and shimmeries (winmax)

i liked my nails more last week :

i just felt like posting a pic of how my nails are daily..no designs or anything just clear. very simple.

somehow, when people saw my nails in the first 2 pics, they thought it was fake nails. but the nails are 100% mine! painted them myself, and inked the pattern using some sort of stamp and template thing, while in the 3rd pic, i used nail stickers.

i like them a lot! did you do it yourself? how did you do it!

I've done my nails for yesterday so their not that good and sorry for the bad quality. I just did the red on top on my real nails and put the nailstickers on it.

LoL... I did my nails for New years.. i wanted something wild so i did leopard hahaha.... my sisters thinks its ugly... i like them though...
i did them on my real nails.....

well, i did the gold ones myself.

do every finger individually.
-find a bunch of different glitters you like (in the blue nails, i had 5 different types) or just one. the ones i bought were loose glitters meant for eyeshadow that i -bought a long time ago that i never used.
-paint a layer of base and don't let it dry.
-dip brush into a little of the base coat, then dip the brush into the glitter.
-lightly pat on the glitter starting with most pressure at the tips, then gradually working towards the cuticle.
-when you're done, just put on a top coat. it's easy

^i did mine sortta like that today, but didnt turn out as good as yours did ..
it started to get a bit thick after 3 layers of the glitter stuff for me.

i'm wondering..you know the japanese 3D nails are so unique....
but can we request here for personalized ones or like..replicas of the pictures for a set if someone knows how to do them?

because i'm DYING for these but i have no idea if people will be able to remake them or even HAVE them to be sold?

Take a metal file, and file the inside of the nail until its a little thinner? But just around the edges. And they are stuck for a while haha.
