Did it take a long time to drop each nail-polish-drop on your fingernail?
this is a very late reply, but maybe the person will read it: i used one of those nail polish pens to do the dots =) so i could do em pretty quick

o thank u ^^
for small and simple designs, like what finfin did (#3507), it's quick
for designs that cover the whole nail area or the french manicure style, takes about 1.5 hours to two.
because if the design is smudged, not stamped correctly or crooked, I have to redo the whole thing, e.g: apply the base nail polish again, wait for the nails to dry again before I can start stamping them, etc etc

OMGOSH! That is sooo not worth it. I was gonna buy a kit soon but I dunno if I will now.

I never keep the same design for long so spending almost two hours on my nails is too long for me. You've got patience Miss Bunny.

Did you use silver nail-polish? It's a metallic-silver, riite?

Great job btw, looks great! ;D

My kit, including 3 nail polishes (the tiny size), 2 plates, stamper, scraper and the image plate holder, all for $16 shipped ($9.99+$4.95 s/h)
I got the kit on eBay.
babojeshio

^ oh reallyyyy. the kits on ebay that i saw are like $30+. so it's
~ BunnyliciouS ~
Mar 19 2008, 09:07 PM
^ Yeah it sucks
there's only a few too now.
There used to be at least a dozen of listings of the basic kits for cheap price
Even mine wasn't the cheapest one. After I bought mine, I found a seller who sold a similar kit, but with THREE plates, for under 10 bucks.

Hi!! I love the konad thing, but when I apply the top coat the design always smudges a bit

BunnyliciouS, how many time do you wait to apply top coat? I wait like...five minutes but it seems that it needs more time to dry
~ BunnyliciouS ~
Mar 20 2008, 12:06 PM
The Konad nail polish takes a long long time to dry. You've to wait for at least 20-30 minutes.
I use the nail dryer machine to fasten the drying time.
If you don't have that, a hair dryer works great too.

does anyone know how to do like...tips, but it kinda fades in? looked so pretty in the konad gallery pics..

I think the fades thing, the person used a sponge.
from wowsocool.com

I think a dishwasher sponge should work, because it looks quite similar
or maybe the triangle foam thing that people use to apply liquid foundation
I haven't had the time to try it
karura84
Mar 21 2008, 06:29 AM
Thanks a lot BunnyliciouS, I will try this afternoon, and I didn't think in using the hair dryer XD
And this kind of fade? Maybe is done with the same thing? It looks so beautiful...
