apparently, "clear" acrylic powder isn't the same as "glass" acrylic powder. i bought "clear" on accident, but now i'm stuck with it since i have so much of it.
my fingers aren't crooked and it's way cuter in person haha.

i have a question for you nail experts..
: in order for your nails not to turn yellow or whatever. do you guys put those special clear coat nailpolish on before you put on the color nail polish. OR do you put the color nailpolish then a top coat? I am confused.

I used to bite them and stopped about a year ago because I was sick of my nails looking so ugly and short and I grew them SO LONG and pretty.
But currently, I cut them because they got too long and I'm still waiting for them to grow again. Then the painting begins.

I just looked at some other pictures for reference and sorta.... winged it? Sorry I'm not that good at explaining. ^^; The jewels and 3-D stuff I got at Michaels, and I'm pretty sure you get them at your local crafts store.

They're called ridges. It's an inconsistancy in the texture of the nail bed. Next time you do your nails buff them first with a nail buffer (3 or 4 way buffer for like 99cents from a drugstore or beauty supply store is fine). Than before applying your base coat put on a coat of ridge filler. It's generally clear or nude/sheer in tone. You apply this before your base coat and after buffing your nails. The ridge filler does just that. It fills in the ridges in your nails creating a smooth, even surface for applying nail polish. It's inexpensive too. Cheaper brands like New York Color (NYC) and Wed&Wild/Tropaz etc. make them. They pretty much cost as much as regular nail polish does.

They should overtime. With maintenance (continued buffing). The ridge is cause from the nails growth pattern. As your nail grows out and you keep them up they should be fine.

Yup =). I just painted it over the dry nail polish with acrylic paint and a paintbrush =). To do a french, you know you can also paint the tip, and use a flat brush (paint brush) or something, dip it in nail polish remover and fix it up =).
Has anyone ever heard of the brand Nicole by OPI? I just bought 2 different bottles of black nail polish with the glitter in them. I want to get the blue lace one.
