Use some kind of flue. It won't stick by itself when you put it on the wet nail polish

Yea it does. I always use fake nails when I do nail art and I use superglue. I dont know how you'd do it on real nails..

1. if you get your nails done (fake nails with designs, french tip,...) how long does it last? 2-3 weeks?
2. you have to go back to the salon to remove them right?
3. for diy fake nails with designs that you have to put it on with glue.. do you guys shape them first? iunno, some of the nails are too big and they look weird when i put them on

1. after 2 weeks, its obvious that my nails are growing out and it's time for a refill.
2. you can get them removed at the salon, but i just do it at home. i soak my nails into acetone and peel them off.
3. when i get them done at the place, they put it on my nail first to see how big it is and then they use the filer to file it down to make it smaller to fit my nail and then they glue it on.

When i do my nails myself, the glue usually does not seemto be strong enough and my nails will fall off through a weeks period. what can i do to prevent this from happening?
is there a way i can fill my nails on my OWN ?

my nails use to be long..but ever since like 5 years ago, ive been cuttin them short A LOT so that i won't have to recut them again. i do that because i need ta play guitar and piano. i dun play em anymore because i aint got the money for it. but my nail are SO short because of that. how do i get em to grow longer? it grows longer, but its only the white/yellow tip part that grows longer and it looks unproportional compared to the flesh nail part.

I have a question about nail hardener. I recently purchased Nutra Nail Maximum Strengthener, and I applied 2-3 coats, like it told me to.
It's been a couple of days (4, I think?) and the nail hardener is peeling off and there are crack/seeps/whatever you call them on the top of my nail. (The white-ish part.)
Is this supposed to happen?

You will need
- A glass of water
- nail polish [ 2 colors, preferably white and something else. you use more than 2 colors if oyu want though ]
- toothpick
- nail polish remover & cotton balls
1. First, open your first bottle of nail polish and let it drip onto the water, it should be floating. Use a toothpick so that the floating patch of color is touching the edge of the glass.
2. Get your second color and let it drop on top of the color from step 1.
3. repeat 1 & 2 a couple of times [it should look like... uhm a target right now XD]
4. use a toothpick and swirl the two colors together so it forms some sort of design on the water. You have to be careful here because you might fish the whole pattern out x_x;
4. after you finish designing the pattern with the toothpick, dip your nail into the design & pull it out. Let the pattern dry on your finger and use nail polish remover to remove excess polish.
5. use toothpick to 'fish' the remaining designs out. Or you can use that for your other fingers but the design is probably ruin now because you've already dipped your fingers in it once.....
Then you just repeat the whole thing for each of your fingers n_n; i'm sorry, i'm really horrible at explaining but tell me if any of you guys try it @_@!~~

I think the only way to get the fading is through airbrush
I redid my nails ^^;
the look less "loud" =\ Just a simple black tips with enamel (hard shiny cover) over it.
hah but today in school a lot of people were like what happened
to your nails? Did the person mess them up?! (I go to an all girl school, so mostly every
girl has their nails done =P)

Here's how I do fading sometimes. I paint the tip of my nails first. And repaint it 2-3 times. Let it dry. Then I paint from the middle of my nails, and paint it 1-2 times. Let it dry. Then I paint my whole nail. Let it dry.
You can do that and just have many different coats.

how come everyone else's nails are to white! do you guys use that thingy (dunno what it's called
, it's like a white pencil eyeliner) to colour the tips white?
i usually cut my nails off when they turn yellow-ish
and what's the best way to take off fake nails without going back to the salon?
for diy fake nails.. do you paint/decorate it first or put in on first?

it turns yellow because there is not enough oxygen goin to ur nails when it is covered by the nail polish.
the best way to take it off? i heard that u can put ur nail in nail polish remover for liek 10 minutes? and then take it off liek that?

Haha gosh I hope I don't become nail obsessed! But I have a question about those tabs, How long do they stay on usually? Oh and they don't make your fake nails look akward do they? hmmmmmm. the tabs last about a week or two.
to some degree they do mess up ur first top layer of nail.
and liek the fake nails. u might needa adjust them. liek the shape and size by filing them. not all will fit perfectly.
