I cant get cute designs done on my nails. I'm the Financial Accountant at my work place. If i came into work with flowery multiple colored nails, they will regard me as "unprofessional" =(

i have mentioned earlier about my natural french.. well i finally took pics:

so those are my naked fingernails except for some really chipped off clear nail polish like on my right thumb lol i wished my nails had a really pretty shape to them. i like the shape of my thumbnails but the tips are the least white compared to the rest of my tips.

the phone above looks like a nokia but idk the model# i could be wrong =x

in china for the summer so got my nails done here~

LOL. Of course not! ^^ Yeah its similar to acrylics. When i said they were my real nails, i was speaking about the length. Most people go get plastic nail tips superglued to their nails to make them longer and what not =P I grew mine out first then had gel put on top of them, so they would be stronger ^-^ The white part is nail polish of course x)

oh i see.. the gel overlays look really natural and pretty. but yea i was confused cause i have ppl telling me my tips are really white but when i saw yours i was like wow those are super super white lol so jealous of the shape of your nails xD

my nails are busted right now but i get a mani/pedi once a week but the polish im using is dark. so it looks chipped really fast. even tho its an opi, it still chips.

I really really like the strawberry idea cause I always wanted strawberry on my nails but everyone tells me they cant do it caues its too hard (never actually got my nails done professionaly, just friends)

EDIT: As I said, first time with anything 3D on my nails. I don't really know how you're actually supposed to put them on, so I just put it on wet polish to dry/stick. But when I wahed my hair, 3 of them fell out. I didn't know what to do, so I just put on more polish to plop it on top of.

this took me like 2hrs to do ==;;; i did it really late at night so i took a pic to show my friend but i havent cleaned the sides yet.. i wish i could get into the nail art with fake nals and making it yourself but i wont be able to wear it because of school (during clinical rotations im not allowed to have nail polish on)

I usually buy mine by V.O.V but I don't really like their solid colors, only the glitter ones.

I play the guitar, so I can't have my nails grow out too long. Is there any type of pattern or style I can do for medium-short nails (white part is only a few mm long)? I've always liked french-tips, but I think those would look a lot better on long nails.

May I ask what brand & color you used for the pink?

I tried doing the fading nail thing but it turned out kinda ugly. The real colors don't look like the colors in the pic, they're a bit darker.

I went over the pink with CoverGirl Boundless Color Nail sparkle topcoat - 405 disco dazzle .. and then I went over the top half portion of my nails with Sally Hansen (New Lengths) - 29 Urban Chic

my aunt got it at a nail supply store for a buck.. cheap! haha..
she used to use toothpick.. but since the surface of the toothpick isnt so perfect...
so the dots won't come out round and even..
