^ use from roughest to smoothest

generally the roughest is for shaping your nail tips
everything in between is for smoothing out your ridges
and the smoothest is for finally buffing your nail for shine

I tried to do nail art on each individual nail but I didn't put the nails on my hand first.
I couldn't do anything though cuz the nail is so lightweight that it keeps moving and won't stay still obviously, when I try to put stuff and nail polish on it.
How do I decorate the nails when they're not on my hand? How do I keep them still so I can work on them individually?
Is there a nail holder or something?

^^ I put the nail on a wad of clay and i stick a toothpick into the clay to hold it.

i hv a stupid qs. about removing fake nails...how do u remove them exactly?? the glue is pretty strong so i can't simply rip it off..and it's gonna hurt...

I think you put your fakes on backwards... aren't the pinks supposed to be the tips?
It looks odd to have clear tips... and the cuts are so angular compared to the smoother pink tips...

Well I'm not sure about American glue, but in Beijing people usually just go back to the nail salon where the nails will be removed with a special kind of liquid. Or you can do what I do; wait 2 weeks and let them gradually fall off.

And on another note... here are my nails currently. I'm going back to the salon on Wednesday to get them removed/put on another pair. Sorry about the huge pics

Hmm well here's some tips that'll help.

-Take Vitamin B6 and Calcium.
-Push your cuticles back everyday (If your going to put nail polish on don't put it on too close or on the cuticle it's hard to push them back)
-Buy a clear nail polish that strengths your nails.
-Try not to expose your nails to water much.
-Get lots of sleep because that's when your nails grow.
-Drink at least one cup of milk everyday (Calcium really helps)
-Nails grow faster in warm climates and fastest in the summer.
-File your nails in only one direction.

I've been doing that for a week and it really makes a difference. Though it may not work for everyone. And wow everyone here has very pretty nails I'll post pics of mine later.

Wow, such beautiful designs! I used to not be able to do anything with my nails when I modelled, so all I ever did was just get a mani/pedi every 1-2 weeks. :/ I think nail art is pretty, but quite fussy and impractical... I want to give it a try! I think it'd look rather stupid on me since it doesn't fit my style, but who knows? I'll post pictures later if I actually go through with it, which I probably will.
