I was at the mall today and saw fake nails and got interested. I bought them and tried them. This is actually my first time to try something on my nails coz I normally do not like to grow them coz they get in the way but that fake nails were so pretty

1. The glue is made of ethyl, how do you take it off?

i believe i phrased it exactly how i meant it.


i've tried doing gradients but they don't have that fade effect. i did a clear-ish pink to baby pink to a bolder hot pink but they look more like regular horizontal lines and doesn't blend like a gradient.

From my experience you can try using a clear nail polish to blend them together before each colour dries.

A few weeks ago I bought bottle of green nailpolish and I love it. The problem is that after I bought it, the color was like a normal clear nailpolish with a greenish tint So I thought maybe I can make the color look darker, other then putting lots of coats, you know? Thankss

i got tired of my UV Gel nails, which i had for the whole spring/summer seasons
i removed the gel at home cuz it was peeling a bit already. it hurt like HELL
my nails were pretty ruined and ugly so i decided to paint them dark
and cover them with glitter =) i hope its not too tacky...

you can buy a nail buffer to file the surface of your nails
or you can purchase ridge filling nail polish

i've been wanting to get a glittery topcoat like that ever since i saw posts of nfu-oh polishes!

Something I did last week.. I was bored~

You can really see the glitter on the white line, oh well. I used Sephora by OPI 'Social climber' (It saids metallic silver but to me it drys a light blue-ish silver)

If its like an inward dent (which is what I had), it will eventually grow out. Mine did .

but ever get that feeling where you cant decide between two colors to paint your nails?

Does anyone here have any experience with fake nails/acrylics? I'm thinking of trying them out soon cause all my friends who've had them down had them turn out really pretty. But I heard it hurts, and takes a long time to heal when they're removed? Can anyone confirm that? Oh, and how long do they generally last?

for me i do this :

clear base
black nail polish
your green nail polish
another coat of your nail polish
then top coat!

Thanks, it's just a local brand here in Philippines, I think Caronia- its really CHEAP and sorry i forgot the name of the color, its like.. pale peach and I layered it with clear glossy nail polish.

i like blues, but it tends to make my hands look pale and frostbitten =x
