the lady did my acrylics bad. by the 3rd day, my real nails were already showing and the tips kept getting caught in my hair when i washed it. :[

but the design & color makes me happy haha

...they stay better on fake nails though since natural nails bend a little and cracks form in the airbrush...but it looks so nice on real nails...

I love those colours, so soft and summery! I'm going to try to find a pale green like that. I went searching for green nailpolish yesterday and it was all lime and bright.

Some of you have really cool nails T_T I'm going to somehow decorate mine in a week and a half's time after Midyear exams ^^

You just dot it with the brush. Don't tilt it. Just keep it straight and dot it.

its makes a HUGE dot. and then its just like... 20 minutes to dry.

i like your pinkie finger...but sorry to say that the rest kind of reminds me of an unfortunate mess of a little kid+an arts and craft project.



i'd say get a skinny brush (as skinny as those nail art brushes) and use that...but possibly cut the bristle shorter so its firmer...put a little nail polish on a plastic surface so you put a good amount on the brush...kind of dab the brush into the polish...

...or get a q-tip...and do that when your base color dries.

^^ try using a kind of blunt pencil and dip it into the paint and dab it onto your nails...lol i know it sounds O_o but i think it should work

yeah there is this thing that they use in the nail salon kinda similar to what "dorkiee_ann" said. I don't know where you could buy that. but anyway good luck to who wants to dot to their nails. ^___^

They are fakenails though..!
My natural nails have to be short because I use contacts and I can't put them in/out with long nails (and I might hurt my eye)
So I use fakenails from time to time or for special occasions / festivals/ birthdays.
I usually let them on my nails for max48 hours and then put some clear nail strengthening nailpolish on them!
That's the way my nails stay healthy

The tips of my nails are more pointy-roudish then squared-off like yours... I am suppose to file them flat to be able to do pretty designs on them? XD;

people with round nails can have nice designs too...but it depends how your fingers looks with short/long/curved/square nails

i just grow them and most of the time im too lazy to decorate them except for just nail polish

Hi, just a question...

There's a bargain store I visited earlier that sells HEAPS of fake nails, very cheap too ($3 per set) including the nail glue. The designs were really pretty, but I'm not sure if they're reliable. Is there anything I should check before buying them?

Also... I have never done fake nails before. How long do they last? Would you only wear them occasionally? I personally find it dirty to be wearing fake nails regularly...

Don't you hate it when you've FINALLY grown you nails out long enough to do pretty designs and then ONE NAIL CHIPS so you have to cut the other ones to match up the length? I hate that! I was SO mad at my friend today for chipping my nail.

Mine chipped because it's thin and fragile. However, only half of it chipped off so the length remains. I didn't cut my other nails; took me months to grow them out so I'm keepin' 'em.
