I used Sation Professional Nail Polish in Toscano #101. It is a really cute pink with very, very fine shimmers. That's what I love about it!

I used two coats of the Sation Nail Polish in Toscano, then two coats of a glittery nail polish to do the gradient look, then sealed it with one coat of Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat. I totally recommend this top coat, especially when you have so many layers of nail polish.



Thanks so much Here's a secret.. I got a manicure like a week ago! Haha But they grew out and luckily still maintained the shape. I personally like the rounded shape more than the square.

Oh dear! lol There are TONS of nail supply stores in Little Saigon.. They have WALLS of China Glaze, ORLY, and OPI for 2 to 4 bucks with no tax Their off brands usually run for a buck each! Needless to say, I can't go there very often otherwise I'd be swimming in polish

arghh.. i got acrylic nails done for prom.. and now that i removed them.. my nails are super thin T_T

How do i make them stronger/thicker again? And wearing polish over my nails should keep it from chipping or breaking right?. I don't know how to describe my nails right now.. but all i know is that it's super thing.. and kinda bendy O_o LOL. I don't remember the correct term for it.. but i THINK it's like eggshell nail or something? IDK.. =[

Don't use regular nailpolish. It makes your nails weaker. I remember, I would always have my nails painted and would just keep painting them although they were easily chipped or broken. But then I didn't use nail polish for like a month and a half and they wen't back to normal.
BUTTT if you can't wait, you can use the strengthening enamel polish stuff.. Not sure if that's the proper term, but OPI makes some. :]

Wearing regular nail polish will weaken your nails. If you want to strengthen them, use a strengthening nail polish (I think-- blanking out here). A couple of good ones in my opinion are O.P.I's Nail Envy and Sally Hansen's Hard As Nails. I like O.P.I's better, but I think I've heard some pretty good things about Hard As Nails.

It depends what you want your base coat to do. Based on what you said before about wanting something which will strengthen your weak nails, I'd recommend a base coat which does that. Pretty much every brand will make one of them. I really like O.P.I's stuff, out of personal preference. But your Sally Hansen should be fine if it says it works as top and base coat (:
