well I think Giru is somewhat heavy...Girugamesh (the album) probably has some of the heaviest they've done

Kowarete iku sekai is one of their best songs ever. I'm playing it on repeat now.
But my all time favorite is still Having Betrayed is Why.

I have a thing for vocalists so i love satoshi but I also think Shu is cool

Uh..well...with ToC this year the US got lucky. But I won't complain...even though the bands I'm dying to see (again) seem to avoid Germany for some unknown reason...*sighs dramatically*

I see it in Germany, too...even the big music-festivals try to invite at least one japanese band each year. Wacken had MUCC and Despa two years ago, last year they had Diru (and Chtonic, but they are...taiwanese?), this year Girugamesh.

Yeah well...for a while it really was Europe that got all the awesome bands...cuz as it seems they go to Europe first to test the non-japanese market. And depending on the success they jump to the US afterwards. At least that's what I observed over the last few years.

Yea i'm in Japan now working at a natural products company for a few weeks. I'm doing good. Mostly goofing off lol. I went to Tokyo this weekend and had a blast. 4 days of craziness haha.

Don't forget MUCC and BALZAC...but yeah, I'm really excited...I've been applying for interviews ever since Giru played their first gig in Germany and finally it's working out! And of course you'll get to see the interview when it's done...or hear it. It'll be broadcasted during next month's show.

They're posting pretty much on their blog on myspace, so I hear of them more often. The last who posted was Satoshi, rambling about movies he likes to watch. He's a fan of Jackass and bought the movies! *rofl*

I'm a little nervous about the interview...but that's normal. I'm ALWAYS nervous before an interview...at the same time I'm really excited about it...that I finally get the chance to meet Giru.

Work's calling me too but I still prefer to sit here stealthily on my comp surfing soompi muahaha.

I'll be leaving for Wacken early on thursday. I might have internet-access over at the press-centre, so I even might give you updates on what's happening. I checked the schedule...Giru will be the last band to play on the party-stage on saturday night...which makes them kind of the headliner there...*is excited* Wacken has three stages and Giru will be on the smallest one...but still, I'm sure it's gonne be awesome as hell.

I don't know yet when the interview's gonna be...my contact still hasn't messaged me. But they have my mobile-number, so they'll be able to reach me even when I'm on the road already.

Still need to prepare the questions to ask at the interview...it's gonna be half standard/half fun and personal questions. Not too personal, though...but I intend to refer to the stuff on their blog. And if someone of you has an interesting/funny question, fire away!
