what are mp3 rotations ?

It's where owners (the people that run the site) upload 'rotations' of mp3's or complete albums every week, 2 weeks, etc. They sometimes take requests. & they usually have a lot of older music because it's to the owner's liking.

^Yeah, that's really the only place I DL music.

I used to DL and use rotations a lot, but I haven't for a while.

there are TONS of mp3 rotations on LJ. no joke.
if you had to list them all here, the list would be really, really long. haha.

yeah. but a lot of them are inactive or only update themselves like 3 times a year. so it's unreliable to use those sources. keke.

i'm a member of a lot as well and i own one. though i'm not a consistent updater.

I don't use downloading clients like Limewire and stuff anymore... I'm just a member of a few LJ filesharing communities, and of course some mp3 rotation ones. I'd die without them; it's how I discover new music and artists and keep up with album releases etc. ^^!

I used to always go on livejournal for mp3 rotations! I never understood bittorent so I depend on mp3 blogs and myspace and forums to keep up to dates with new music. lol

i've got so many lj rotation communities on my friends list.
but my favourite is ongoingmelody because she recommends good songs and there's english songs as well. (:
and she usually uploads full albums and review them and let you sample the tracks without actually downloading it.
