In fact, I have just gone to their concert yesterday in Toronto. Hillsong and Starfield (another Christian group from Vancouver) Ontario Place June 2, 2007! Their concert was live. Anyone else went to their concert yesterday?

Well yesterday was the first Hillsong concert i've ever been to. If my cousin had not told me they were holding one, then I would not have known. It was held in Toronto, Canada. Hopefully you'll be able to go next year!

Ah, my church went to that yesterday...I missed out, but I heard it was amazing!

^ yeah i agree. hosanna is a pretty amazing song. i heard it for the first time when i went, and it was awesome! i would love to go to a full concert of Starfield because they only played like four songs.

Yea, I went to their concert also but mines was on May 25th
So packed but WOW, the worship was amazingg!
I absolutely love the direction their music is heading towards now.

yea they're really good. It's funny I'm in Aus but I don't know about them. A friend from malaysia send a song to me years ago and ever since then, i love them

Woooo I just bought "Look to You" and "United We Stand" so that makes 3 in my collection cuz I bought "More than Life" when I was Korea
they ALL come with DVDs so the price is worth it.

they are so awesome because they are so so so Spirit filled and you can tell by their energy that they LOVE God
I can't stop watching it because it encourages me a lot.
We're trying to 'revive' our worship band so its so awesome just watching them.
they don't consider themselves as a band but just as God loving people

so guys, remember that there is a difference between hillsong and hillsong united (which used to be called united live)

i think people mix them up easily.
hillsong united didn't do mighty to save... ahah all my friends get confused about it.

Hillsong (as is - in terms of albums) is the one with Darlene Zschech as the lead singer.

Hillsong United is the one that's catered for the youth and led by Joel and Marty.

Both Marty and Joel are part of the Hillsong team that is led by Darlene - collectively called Hillsong Team (so they also have songs in the Hillsong albums whereas Darlene usually don't have a singing part in Hillsong United albums).

Hillsong Live are those albums that were recorded live (with usually more than 20,000 people in an auditorium - which I always participate in!)

Hillsong United All of the Above is the album released this year which debuted in #6 in the US Billboard Charts!

Hillsong is releasing a new album called Saviour King (a Live album recording held last year in July 2006) in 2 weeks (in time for the Hillsong Conference).

wasn't it though? i never got over how AMAZING that concert was until like a week or two later

Oh you guys, I so wanted to go to the concert. I was on a month long trip and had returned to Canada a few days before the concert. But for some reason I had it in my head that the concert was on June 20th so I didn't go I was asking a friend of mine if he wanted to go and he said that another friend of his already went on the 2nd and then it hit me! But Hillsongs are awesome and the United team is amazing. There's this one song from the United We Stand album that always gets me...the title eludes me right now but the song goes "Did you rise the sun for me, paint a million stars that I might know Your majesty. Is Your voice upon the wind, is everything I know marked with my Maker's finger prints..."

I agree, Starfield is awesome. Both their albums are filled with very good music. And I missed them when they perfoemed at my church a few weeks ago too! Seriously, I need to be on top of things.
