Has anybody read it? It's the only and best vampire book I've read so far. Feel free to this discuss your opinion about the books.

I absolutely adored this book. Couldn't put it down. At first I didn't even bother looking at the book, I had no interest in vampires or anything remotely close to it, but then my co-worker recommended the book to me and I'm still thanking her for doing that haha. This book is perfect for all ages. I swear, you don't have to like vampires to enjoy the book. I recommended it to everyone, my friends, my family. And so far, they all love it. I heard that the libraries have a huge waiting list for this book. I'm psyched about the sequel coming out.

i read it and it was absolutely amazing. i read it during class which i wasnt supposed to. lol. but i cant wait for the sequel.

One of the best books. Hot characters and a great storyline.

I JUST FINISHED THE BGOOK TODAY AND OMGISOH I LOVE IT.

Someoen randomly recommended it to me (she was in love with it, recommending it to everyone) I got it out from the lib'ry the next day and OMGISOH. =| I read it within these past 3 days and ye;

I totally love it and it was totally cute and I totally love Edward Cullen.. (XD haha, I tried imagining all the characters as if they were Asian =O;)

And ye~~ I can't waitttttt for the sequel.. Oh O_O i think im going to buy the book too, despite my already reading it/getting it from the library.. because its just that good~ I skimmed through Stephenie Meyer's site and the lexicon and ye T^T Im so happy that there'll be at least, what? -- 3 more books that she mentioned?

It appeals to me like any book that will be a good one read with imaginative minds exploding with fanaticism. And I'm done.

gosh im so glad someone make a thread for this book.i love this book so much that i actually finished faster than i imagined.i cant wait for midnight sun to be out.i hope mtv going to make a good movie out of this book or else it just ruin everything.

it was a good book, but meyer's writing style kind of bothered me. i guess it's understandable since it's a book for "young adults".

i am going to read new moon soon! i am also way too excited for eclipse to come out as well as the fourth (and probably the last) one!

how's the second one? i really enjoyed the first one..its a bit easy to read tho..but otherwise great plot

It was an okay book. First of all, she's a great author and she can write pretty well. The plot was kind of strange, Edward was too perfect, and Bella-Edward relationship was too...impossible? I don't know. I like her writing and all, but meh...it was just like a drama to me. And the Cullens weren't very exciting vampires, but I'm a person who loves vampire stories, so I might be biased.

this book was really good! i finally finished it last night i didn't exactly love the beginning of the book though, because their relationship just kinda happened out of nowhere.. it felt like there was no real transition. it was like "i met you and *boom* i already love you"... weird
but i LOVED the later parts, where the action finally started working ah bless edward and his freaking.. sexiness!! hahahah

I agree... Bella and Edward fell for each other a little too soon.
But I really liked this book! I finished it in 2 days.
I haven't read a good book in a while.

Now I have to go find New Moon! =)

Yeah, i have to admit the book is fast pacing... but it's SOOO ADDICTING. i've read both twilight and new moon, and LOVED IT. highly recommend them

I thought it was alright, I didn't really like how Bella kept describing how perfect Edward was every single time she sees him.. -__-
oh, and the 'sparkling' vampires was pretty funny.. I just couldn't picture it without laughing..
I tried reading New Moon, but I couldn't finish it.. lol

they're making a movie out of this book.

I think it's overrated, though i know like EVERYONE loves it. I like the ideas, but not so much how she organized the plot. It seemed like there were 2 stories. [One of her discovering the guy, the other when she is kidnapped]. The second story, which, imo, contained most of the action, was squeezed into the end, not connecting with the first half very well. [ehh just trying to remember what i read like 2+ yrs ago]

I think it's a good book as her first, but i also think she can improve, and will improve. Anyways, i think there are better books out there, and better writers
i haven't read the first book, and i've heard that it's not that great.

i finished the book on a trip i was on and then the day after i came back home i went and bought the sequel. <3

it's so addicting and it gives a new persona to the generic vampire~ i love it =D

omggg, i lovee twilight and new moon! Bella and Edward. . . esp EDWARD! hes just HOT. you know what i mean? hahaha. Hes so intense, and esp their kissing their parts. (ooooo!) but yeah, right after i finished twlight i wanted so badly to read New Moon. And when i did, i kinda went through the book, and then i realized something. . and i lost interest after that because of it. Then i suddenly started to read the book again, and i regret not finishing it.

I cant wait for the next book! Does anyone know wat the new title will be?

YAH it was very annoying how every second sentence was how extremely good looking edward was (although in my head he was very very good looking <3) i dont neeed to be reminded of it over and over and over... but i did love how she described his voice as creamy velvet or something along those lines.

the story was okay, as much as i like vampire stories, this didnt do it much for me and the only characters i liked was edward and the future seeeing sister. everything else was quite average, not enough vampire stuff, too much swooning and what not, and i didnt really see why bella and edward liked each other so much? edward thot she smelt nice o_0 and bella thot he was extremely good looking.

so the first half of the second book was REALLY annoying how she was so hung up over the guy, seriously. BUT the second part was awesome o_o lots of vampire stuff! in italy! <3 and because edward came back haah

Out of Twilight and New Moon...I liked twilight more. It had me keep on reading until the end without any stops. Her writing just captured my attention and wouldn't let me go. New Moon was ok..but it was kinda dragging on and on..I just wanted Edward but...>_<;;

oh my gosh. I ABSOLETELY LOVEEE THIS BOOK! It's so amazing. I finished both books in 5 days. I was up until like 3am reading them. hehe. It's the best book ive ever read so far. I can't wait for Eclipse to come out this fall.

I absolutely...HATE THIS BOOK.
I understand that a lot of people just LOVES this book, but I'm not one of them.
I found her writing to be very immature and amuterish, I understand that she's a new writer, but I still hate her style of writing, there's no detail and the flow of the sentences are very choppy.
Not only that, I hated the main character, Isabelle, I couldn't really understand her thoughts and her character wasn't very stable, she had like...bipolar or something. Also, the maturity of thier "love" was a little mature for a high schooler, if they were like...mid-twenties or something then maybe it would be better if they had this attraction.
I didn't like Edward either, he was pretty weak mentally and emotionally, I don't dig that in a guy, especially a vampire.

I'm sorry that my opinions don't agree to yours, but I just want to post my two cents.

Loved this book. The sequel, New Moon, wasn't as good but I still enjoyed it.

If there's the movie, definitely going to see it <3.

Omg, I finally found this thread. Twilight is A TOTAL recommendation. I fell in love with Edward Cullen when I read it. It got me hooked for days, withouth studying. >.< The sequel is already out and I think there will be book three, and probably four. For those who love fantasy and vampires, I totally recommend this. Just thinking about it makes me want to jump into the book and be one of the characters so I can be with Edward Cullen.
