I agree with you. If it weren't for Jacob, Bella would be a mess. Jacob cares for Bella. He has duties as a werewolf to protect people from vampires. And on top of that, he's running around Bella's house every night just to check up on her, even if he did ignore her. He was only doing those things for her good. He didn't want to hurt her like Sam did to Emily.



She didn't fall for Jacob that quickly. Actually, she fell for Edward too quickly. Jacob's was more subtle. And because Bella is so emotionally connected to Jacob (as he was fixing her up inside), of course she would end up falling for him. She never fell for him in Eclipse either; she fell in love with him in New Moon. So really, that isn't fast. She only realized she was in love with Jacob in Eclipse.

And... well, that's not moving on too quickly. What else is she to do if her love left her? She was waiting for him for a few months, and he never returned. It's only wise to move forward.

I actually think that Jacob kissing Bella was a good thing for her. It made her realize how much she really does love Edward and the consequences of her decision if she chooses him. She knows she's giving up so much to be with Edward, and she could've chosen the easier road: Jacob.



I think the reason she believed it so quickly because deep down, she knows she can't compare with Edward. And it made so much more sense that he would go for someone else better than her because she sees herself as an average girl/human next to Edward.

It's the same thing for Edward. If Bella lied and told him to go away, he would because he also cannot believe that Bella could love someone that is "a monster".



Hmm... well, I think Edward should have his side, too. Both Edward and Jacob were hurt by Bella in some sort of way. I just don't like that it happened that way. I guess the Wuthering Heights theme brought out the nasty side of Bella.

But anyway, Bella doesn't deserve either of them. She cheated on Edward. It doesn't matter if Jacob was Bella's other love or best friend; she abadoned him so many times that it isn't fair for Jacob to keep on waiting. She led him on too much that I feel sorry for the poor guy. Is it any wonder that Jacob did the things he did in Eclipse? He knew Bella loved him and thought he had a chance with her because Bella put it out that way.

I've read a few theories before, on other forums (Lexicon) [haven't read through this one either, 94pgs? lol; I don't have the time xD]

but going along with her "ability" simply as a human (in regards to Edward's ability), it's somewhere along the lines of nullification, or immunity, to other vampires' powers.

Edward can't hear her thoughts, Jane's mental pain trick doesn't get her-- so I believe the theory is that she's immune to mental abilities.
because Alice's & Jasper's powers still affect her.

so in short, maybe she'll be... immune to powers?

I went to Walmart today and I saw this little poster by the entry saying that they'll stock up on Breaking Dawn, august 2nd and i was all OMGOMGOMG! and i couldnt stop smiling! and i was like, "LOOK DAD! THAT'S THE BOOK I PREORDERED! YAY!"

i was so tempted to take a picture or ask if i can have it. HAHAHA and as we were leaving walmart, i looked at the poster and couldnt stop looking at it and the lady by the door looked at me, then at the poster, then smiled like oh. hahaha it was hilarious. gahhh i love twilight. i think i'll never get a boyfriend because of it too.

okay~ i can't wait to read midnight sun so i can finally see into edward's head and understand WHY he loves bella so much!

honestly, she hasn't done much of anything to prove herself worthy of his love. sure, she gets her moments of insight but frankly, she does NOT please me. for a guy as sweet, as patient and as understanding as edward, i really don't see yet why he is so willing to give everything up for someone like bella. i don't see it, at least not in eclipse. she loves him, i get that. but...man, i really don't understand why she's pissing me out so much in this book. maybe because edward is being so mature about things, and she can't be? hahaha~~~ i don't know...i guess i need to see this whole story through before i can really make up my mind. right now, i'm just one pissed reader.

How do you reserve a copy? I'm new to this .. no offense at all but I used to think that HP fans that camped outside of Borders for the newest book were insane. But now I know how they feel lmao.

i know that if you call your local borders or barnes and noble where you live and tell them that you want to reserve breaking dawn they'll let you and they usually ask for either your whole name or last name. from there on they only hold the book for three days and then after that they put it back on the shelf. another option would be preordering the book and then you could just go and pick it up either way is good i'm just use to reserving. hope this is helpful.

^ Breaking Dawn Release Parties are hosted in various bookstores throughout North America.
It takes place on August 1st at night.
{I don`t know about your area, but in my area it happens from 8pm - 12am, or maybe the times for every store is the same.}


Like you said, there will be games where you can actually win prizes {no idea what the prizes are, but i heard one of them is getting the honour of buying the first copy of BD!}
When the party ends approximately at 12 am, which is literally August 2nd, buyers can line up and buy their copies of BD.
Since you said you reserved it, I`m thinking you`ll need to tell them your info and they`ll give it to you.
Make sure you go to the bookstore you reserved your book at ^^


Btw, the theme for the parties is Masquerade i believe?
there will also be a prize for the person with the best costume at the party.

I hope it isn't. I'm trying hard to firmly believe that Bella wouldn't do it again because she chose to be with Edward. If she went back on her word, I don't know what to think of her anymore.
