As for Edward, I still love him <3 I feel awful for him, and it's hard seeing him so lifeless in the story....
And I liked Jacob's POV; it was really interesting. I did feel awful for the pack though... so much conflict because of that thing.
Even after reading the first 14 chapters of BD, I'm still happily on both teams!

I'm just dreading Jacob's fate......

-Nessie grows really fast. She isnt like an infant for half the book, and she has special powers.

-Bella does also, firstly she adapts quickly. She isnt some blood thirsty crazy newborn. and also she is a shield. She can protect herself and others from the special powers of other vampires. like jane.

-at the very end she takes down her shield and edward can finally hear her thoughts.

-Rosalie lives. No cullen dies.

-Bella is motherly, but not in an annoying way. (I guess we'll see...)

-Charlie knows, kinda.

-Alice and Jasper come back. (No idea from where.)

-Nessie is about 4 or 5 months old. but she is about the size of a toddler.
she is really smart though. she can communicate with speech but she also shows people things, images and such by touching their faces.

And what striked me kind of funny is that during the Good Morning America interview (I'm pretty sure it was this one), Stephenie Meyer was expressing how glad she was about how the book hasn't been spoiled yet.......

Ugh I just read the book. It was... interesting. I'm not gonna say anything else, but uhh... I don't even know what to say. This series turned out so wrong. I loved Twilight and then with New Moon everything just was... blah. The only reason I still read these books is because I always finish what I start, haha.

^^ I've been to the midnight release parties for HP and I usually went around 9. I REALLY don't think this release will have that much of a turnout as HP so go around 8? Well I know that they parties here for BD starts at 8.

I already spent good money on this book so I will wait a couple of hours.

From what I've read of Breaking Dawn so far (1-14) I think that Stephenie Meyer took a lot of cues from other people. The vampire babies/children remind me so much of Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire, especially the character Claudia who was just as Stephenie described those vampire children. This may be more obscure to some, but the part where Edward offered to pimp out/share/encourage Bella to have sex with Jacob for babies, reminded me of the whole Arthur, Lancelot, Guenevere scene in that book.

Those really stood out to me so far, and the fact that I just feel disappointed in Edward. I was never a die hard Edward fan, I always thought he was too controling, but in this book so far, he lost whatever charm he still had with me. He may get it back though, I'm not sure.
