I went to watch it yesterday, and I really like it a lot although the ending was so I dunno..so sudden I was like =O that's it? haha but overall great, and yes please stay after the credits, I think it might be important..and possibly a clue that there might be a sequel??

the movie was sooooooo badass! my boyfriend actually had to drag me to watch it because i wasn't expecting it to be any good . for the after credits, it reveals who'll play nick fury here's a video upload i found of it (i'm pretty sure there's a sequel coming out sometime)

My boyfriend wanted to watch this movie so I went with him.
I wasn't really all that excited about watching it, but im glad he made me came with him.
It was amazing....from the graphic to the humor. Great balance of both; if you haven't seen it you should.

i dont really like paltrow, she has a really dry stoned look. robert downey jr carries this constant "in your face" rude expression that just doesnt fit with his scenes in the trailer. the cast doesnt attract me nor can i relate to old has beens, i think the hollywood people always use people from their friends circle and how they rank with them instead of scouting different talent. this is one overmarketed film, ppl getting pumped for some cheap dialogue and lots of explosions. i think i'll pass on this movie. not gonna help them flood the film market with the same genres over and over.

I don't really like gwenyth in this film though.. her acting seemed kind of forced but otherwise great cast. i'll watch the second one when it comes out.

The movie was longer than I expected it to be. I really shouldn't have drunk that jumbo sized soda during the previews.

during the credit, it did say the company that provided the armor so i'm pretty sure they had a full suit of armor and the CG armor was used for the action shots

I love love love the movie.. maybe except for Paltrow. Everyone else was great.. terrence howard.. and his line, "next time baby" was just soo cool! and the suit... WOW! Despite what other thinks. i found RDJ to be super sexy. I don't have a preconcieved idea of Iron Man so I thought he was phenomenal.

My dad and I were so pumped up for watching the movie, we kept going "Ironman!" on our way to the theater while my sister and mother just went "..."

MAN RDJ was SMOKIN, esp during the ironing of the shield part in the cave... i was like...passing out with nose bleeds! HAHAHAHAHAHA

I'm SOOO happy that I wasn't the only one who thought RDJ was sexy. He may be over the age a bit, but his acting was amazing and I'm so glad he played this role. The movie had great action and the humor was there. I did not heard of Iron Man until the movie. Shocking right? I'm glad I went to see the movie. It's great. I love it. It is one of the best superhero movie thus far. The movie was really long, but no time of the film was wasted. It was very ENTERTAINING! I'm still very jealous of his computer and his high-tech system. Especially his robots. AND you can't forget about his amazing house. I want one like that. It's beautiful and the setting was gorgeous. I thought the music went so well will the movie. I find that Rock music works really well with these action-pack-hero movies. I mean take 300 for instance, It worked so well with it. THE ENDING, when he came out and said "TRUTHFULLY, I AM IRON MAN" and the news reporters all went crazy, that was HOT. I love the ending because he revealed that he IS the superhero. Unlike all other superheros, they kept their identy hidden. TONY STARK IS SUCH AN PIMP! ^^ I love his personality. FUNNY and mega SMART! --> that is super sexy...

My friend made me watched it, because he was so hyped bout it. Then we went to watch it the next day. I don't regret it.

I questioned the movie a lot. Too sci-fi for me, but it is pretty cool.
I love his drafting table though. I need to get one of those.

I guessed nearly every part of the movie once the he got going in the suit, but I had so much fun that I didn't care. Gweneth was okay, her acting seem to get a little bad later *the "but you'll die" line* didn't seem believable but RDJ had me completely.

i saw it yesterday afternoon, and for me its kinda like seeing Spiderman and XMen for the first time...I was totally blown away by it becuz as a comicbook reader i was all hyped up for it...all of them were great...great casting, great action, great story, great cgi.

RDJ was great, like ive been saying since the day he was casted, he played arrogant playboy Tony Sparks to perfection...Gwyneth Paltrow looked extremely pretty in this movie, for the most part I liked her character, until the end when she became kind of an idiot, Jeff "The Dude" Bridges was and is...The Dude, just awesome but cliche' towards the end, Terrance Howard role was small, kind of underused...but it was more of a build up for the sequel..."Next time baby!" and I love the fact that its building up and leading towards an Avenger's movie.

but then as a reader, i would get annoyed by the little things the movie...my main gripe with this movie is a small one, they changed it to make it work for the movie but still it annoyed me...and it was JARVIS!!...in the book he was not a computer but a real person, a real butler! (who also was going out with Peter Parker's Aunt May!!)

Its about time that Marvel started crossreferencing their Universe with each other...it annoyed me to no end that XMen/Spiderman/FF/Blade/Ghostrider/Punisher all seem to live in their own world in the movie, yet in the comicbooks they all jump in and out of each other's book...

So seeing Fury in Iron Man and then Iron Man making a cameo in The Hulk is awesome for me...and it seems like an allstar Avenger's movie will become a reality!

I'm a little reluctant because it's Robert Downey Jr. playing the lead role, and I'm surprised they'd grabbed a washed-up actor with past drug problems.

Like everybody said, RDJ MADE this movie what it is not to downplay the gorgeous CGI or the humor of the script (although many of the lines were adlibbed RDJ FTW <3), but with this kind of plot (quite predictable, lots of action), you have to rely on the characters, and the director (god can't spell his name!) made a wise choice NOT to cast a newcomer in this role. I've loved RDJ since his early days. He's the kind of actor that commands your attention right away. The moment he appears on the screen, you know something's gonna be sooo special

Why wouldn't they? RDJ is getting over his addiction now, and isn't it perfect to choose someone with addiction to play a character with alcoholism? Also, he's a great talent. Even Woody Allen said so <3

This movie was pretty good surprisingly. And I thought it was so funny, haha, I loved the way they portrayed Tony Starks/Iron Man. XD Such a playboy and so blunt, lmaos.

This movie was so good! Just saw it today, I liked it even more than I thought I would. The speial effects were amazing. This movie was just... so much fun. XDDD I don't even know how else to describe it, it was really fun.

My only complaint is I wish they would have showed him saving more innocent civilians, because whenever he did, those were the most badass parts.

You know, Iron Man (the comics) has always been one of my favorites, not at the top of my list but pretty much on it. And I was also reluctant to watch it (not cause of Robert Downey Jr., bona fide actor). I finally got to watch it yesterday, and it was INCREDIBLE! My friends and I had come out of a launch party, pretty much exhausted. Some circumstances led us to the theaters, and I thought I'd fall asleep, but every second of the movie just kept me up. Sitting knees against my chest, eyes wide open. No doubt, this had to be one of the best movies I had seen in a very long time. Go see it.

Oh and Robert Downey Jr. was perfect for the role.

Like everyone said, he fit the role perfectly. Stark was drunk here and there in the movie, and I could perfectly imagine Downey back then being drunk and wild like him.
He really fit the arrogant, player, kind of rambunctious guy.

Oh yeah, I liked Terrence Howard in the movie too. Hilarious stuff

"Let's be honest. That's not the worst thing you've caught me doing." - I think this line justifies RDJ being chosen as the title character

Will is just hatin, he wishes it was a movie about My Little Pony instead.

Already saw the film twice, best Marvel film to date. It's right up there with Batman Begins and '89 as the best comic films of all time. Now we'll just have to see how TDK and Watchmen hold up.

Btw, Howard got really screwed over in the film. Hopefully that gets sorted out in the home release.

Saw this last week and i must say it lived up to the hype unlike other movies (Jumper anyone?) Anyways Robert Downey Jr played Stark to a pitch perfect performance. The movie at times felt like a war action thriller about the corruption of weapons dealing and manfuacturing which I didn't mind at all. It gave the comic book/superhero genre of film a breath of fresh air after some disappointing comic adaptations (Fantastic 4 was just horrible). I'll admit that at first I wasn't really thinking this to be a good movie due to the fact that the recent string of comic book movies were quite lame but I left the cinema very impressed. If you haven't heard by now, staying in the cinema after theredits are done will wet your pants (in a good way). =D

Yeah you can tell some of the parts were ad-libbed into the movie (probably most of Stark's witty lines).

Overall good movie, a good take on Iron Man and the comic book genre. Enjoyable watch for all, children and adults alike. =D

You know... what you said is true about RDJ but he is a good actor.... the thing about America is that, they always seem to look past your past and gave him a 2ndy chance... you must go watch it... it's good and RDJ fit the roll perfectly... you wll come back and be like I think no one can play that roll better then RDJ.

I reckon RDJ could pull off playing the abusive alcoholic Stark seeing as how he's had that whole rehab thing. You'd think that'd give him a bit of an edge on Stark.
