First of all welcome to the Car Forum here at Soompi.

The same rules apply here as they do everywhere else; some of them being: no profanity, no member bashing, no spamming. Here is the general Soompi rules in case you need to review them again. Soompi Rules created by Mrs. Soomp! herself.

General rules I'd like to emphasize:

1. No descriptions of illegal activities. Its a big vague, but lets not see a picture of you snorting cocaine or anything ok?

2. Be courteous to everyone around here. Since cars are so subjective people will disagree often, so do your best not to flame. If you don't like someone else's car, don't say its ugly or piece of crap or anything like that. If you must give your opinion, just say its not your "cup of tea" or it's not your style. Just be nice ok?

3. Follow the signature rules. Its already in the main Soompi forum rules, but I want to point it out again.

4. No masking or distorting swear words. examples: sh*t, fcuk are not appropriate. I especially will not tollerate it when you use these words directed towards another user. You will be given a forum warning.

5. NO SPAMMING. Creating a spam thread will get you banned plain and simple, and contributing to a spam thread will also not be tollerated. So from now on, NO posting in spam threads. Report it to me but no posting. Depending on how much you post in that thread, it can also get you instantly banned. To read more about it click on this link: SPAMMERS BEWARE.

Here are the rules specific to this forum:

6. No posers (fakers). In other words, don't post photos of a car that isn't yours and pretend it is yours. Don't pretend you own a car that you don't. Posers are frowned upon here.

7. New users (aka noobs) cannot post ads. To post a car ad you have to be a member for at least 3 months AND have more than 10 quality posts. As always it is under my discretion to determine if your posts are quality posts, but use your common sense here. This new rule is put into effect as to prevent this forum from being used exclusively as a classifieds board.

Failure to follow any of these rules may result in a WARNING. Yeah lots of rules I know, but rules are necessary.

These aren't rules, but general guidelines to make the forum run more efficiently.
a. Don't use "Report this post to a moderator" button. PM me directly for issues and problems you may have, and make sure to include a link to the post. The reason for this is because the button sends a PM to EVERY moderator on Soompi. I am the only one actively involved in the car forums.

b.Have fun. It's contageous. Enjoy yourself here, post in good spirits and we can all have a good time.

whats the rule against street racing threads.

I'm going to presume since street racing is illegal and the first rule was no illegal activity that there shouldn't be any.

What's your Rule on spamming?

i see 'cutepeaches' posting up new thread with a simple link (same site motorauthority.com). No follow up on the discussion or anything.

Is it fair to ban him/her for spamming?

Hey Wesley. Sorry I didn't know there was new posts in this thread. Well spamming is technically not tollerated here. I noticed cutepeaches posting everything from that one site too, but there is a fine line and I will keep an eye on it. Thanks for the heads up.

As for street racing. Yes street racing is technically illegal, but this is a car specific forum so I will tolerate and be lenient at my discretion.
