ooh i saw the trailer yesterday when i went to see harry potter. it looks like it's going to be good.

I've heard some pretty interesting things so far from a friend that attended the screener. I know they're just the core of the movie since it's so far away from being finished but... I'm looking forward to it.

I do like how they only mention ID & DAT... and forget about Godzilla.

I only want to see this because of Camilla Belle because she has amazing red carpet style lol

I watched that today and it was pretty good. some parts were..boring??..but overall, i liked it.

i just watched it in theaters last night.
it was okay. it didn't reach up to my expectations because i thought it will be great as the trailers shown.
i just wished that i chose vantage point instead of this movie last night hayyy...

i don'tknow if i want to see it now.

okay..this movie... sucked. even though i love steven strait he gave a half baked performance. and they're speaking english before people even knew what language is??? temples with mammoths and sabertooths? wtf.. im confused. its not correct, i know its a movie. but at least make it a bit historically correct.

i thought it was pretty good ... not up to what i was expecting, but still a good movie
the story had it's ups and downs, but i was entertained for the most part
if i was to rate it on a scale of 1 - 5
5 being the best
i'd give it a 3.5

Looks weird. The only reason I'd ever watch it would maybe be for Camilla Belle.

but yeah..the movie wasnt that great to me. friends wanted to see it and there wasnt really anything else good on...so... it was probably how wildly inaccurate and fantasized it seemed...

the movie was ok, it was what i was expecting; nothing spectacular
just like how ppl hype up movies like say Batman and Spiderman just to find out that its mediocre
i wouldn't say it was bad; bad movies were like Alien v Predator, Jumper, Cloverfield and shits

i did like how it was somewhat fantasized and i wouldn't complain about speaking English, i liked it that why or else it would just be like watching another documentary on cavemen or our early ancestors from National Geographic or something and i've seen many of those O_O
i thought the movie was worth my money and interesting, i didn't hype it up b/c not a lot of movies strike me these days

and i'd wouldn't even pay attention to a review or critic who said it was racist...i don't even know how ppl would get that idea from, putting race into a topic just to cause controversy, mini cooper the main character wasn't black,yellow,brown etc.. so that could also be racist ppl these days

I dont think this person was watching the movie at all O_O. i dont think i would trust that person's review after that i think he miss out on what part of the movie was about. He wasn't just saving darker colored ppl. I mean was this person watching the same movie? The main character's tribe itself well u dont even know if it was a "white" seeing how the old women in his tribes look native american . His father's friend looked middle eastern to me and there was a yonger boy who looked mixed black and white but his mother was asian. even though the movie was not historically acurate it was good movie for entertianment

AGREED!!!! I should read the synopsis before watch this movie coz I'm clueless the entire time.... even if this a fantasy, at least do it right and interesting enough that people almost believe it was true...



Better watching the documentary, for me it the same.... Why waste money on a ticket if you can watch it on TV....

I was planning to see this, but after reading and hearing so many "it was bad" comments I'll just wait for it to come on HBO. haha

this movie wasnt that bad... it was pretty good though not the best it could have been... and to those who said it wasnt historically correct... common its a movie after all!
though during the time of 10,000 B.C. there were mamoths and all of those animals , so that part of the movie was historically correct.... but i have to agree that the temples/ pyramids were a little over the top.. since the pyramids of egypt wernt even built till 3,000 B.C. , plus how did some of the characters have cloth and silky looking cloths when those were not even invented yet lol, also the mascara and eyeliner.... but anyways.... its not that bad that they strayed away from history.... it made the movie look good.... its for entertainment afterall... if not then just turn on your history channel if you wanna complain about it not being historically correct.

the trailer was good, im considering checking this out but i've been goin to the theaters almost every week for the past month or 2.. im thinking of laying it off for a while, but if this movie is good, im defintiely checking it out

well with your awesome logic than a lot of mediocre or good movies should be discredited like LOTR and Pirates of the Caribbean with dead skeletons walking around and Octopus men etc.. mixing in with real stuff like British soldiers etc...
and plus its called a movie thats why people watch them in theatres, i mean i could watch UFO documentaries but instead i rather watch AVP b/c of the action

For some reason, I didn't enjoy this movie....

i really really really have high expectations for this movie. sadly... it fell short.
but hey, its still a good movie! it is entertaining the story, though a little cliche, is well 'told'.
the mammoths are AWESOME!
and plus, Camilla Belle (who'll definitely pass as Rinoa's cavewoman version) is STUNNIG!!!! and Steven strait (who can also pass as Squall the caveman - check him out in that Disney movie 'bout super heroes) wasn't so bad either.

I went on Sunday to watch this movie with my sister and cousin. Being a history junkie I was caught by surprised, cause it wasn't historial at all, nothing to do with history. But then it's a movie, so i just sat back and watched.

It actually turned out to be better than I expected cause i wasn't sure what to expect, when the actors started to speak english, n the others didn't.

I really like the backdrops they used for this movie. It's so beautiful.

Steven was from the movie The Conveant, which i saw and sort of was okay with it. But his performance was amazing. He really protrayed his character well. Overall it was good to have a upcoming star to do the movie instead of a well known established one.

Steven running around half naked most of the time was something my little sister and cousin enjoyed the most.

I only recommend this movie to those who want to see some good action and suspense.

The ending fighting scenes were great.

My cousin made a remark, on how come you didn't see any Asians in the movie. I was like maybe cause they were doing kungfu and flying like crazy over in Asia, they have their own civilization going on around that same time.

people didn't like this movie much but i loved it. the storyline was great, the action was okay and the two main leads were amazing and beautiful people. i thought it was a good watch and surely worth my money.

I didn't even have the chance to watch the trailer for this movie but my friends dragged me to the theaters for this movie anyways o-o it wasn't bad, the effects and graphics were amazing, especially with the mammoths. The movie wasn't that bad but it didn't WHOA me. Some of it might be wrong but really, it's a movie. I guess it's for entertainment purposes. Enjoyable(:

This movie was SOOO BAD.
I went to go watch it with my bf, and we were both so disappointed and regretted that we didn't watch the Other Boleyn Girl instead.
There was only like 4 people in the theatre too, and it wasn't because it was raining.

haha..you are very funny... so what language do you want to use in this movie..and if ever they use old language, if there is, will everyone watch it??? will you understand it if in case you will watch it???? lolz!!!

I suppose if Mel Gibson can get away with it in Apocalypto and subtitles, maybe it could have worked here - even if it was just a bunch of grunts and growls haha.
