Summary: Yuuki's earliest memory is of a stormy winter's night when she was attacked by a vampire...then saved by another. Ten years later, she has grown up a guardian of the vampire race, protecting her savior, Kaname, from discovery as he leads a group of reformed vampires at an elite boarding academy. But at her side is a boy called Zero, who burns with hatred for the creatures who destroyed everything that he ever cared for, and is determined never to trust them. Have the vampires truly renounced their murderous ways, or is there a darker truth behind their actions? Is Kaname's infatuation with Yuuki the beginning of a forbidden romance? Or is it something in her lost memories that draws him to her? Because in this world of secrets, nothing is as it seems, and nobody is who they say they are. And the price of misplaced faith may well be worse than death.

Though not much scanlations have been released... it's just so anticipating. The graphics are wonderful, and the plot is fairly well done. My favourite manga at the moment. =)

i'm reading this. i was so glad when storm in heaven picked it up because i read chapter 1 from another group and they never continued. i love this author's artwork, bishies galore

Did anyone catch Chapter 3 yet? I wasn't all that surprised about what I learned about Zero.

i read the english scans awhile ago, but since it stopped at chap.4 i couldn't help it and downloaded the chinese scans. too bad i could only understand every other word...*sighs* my chinese still isn't good enough. i can't wait for more of the english scans to come out... This is a must read!! i like it a lot!

I was about to make a Vampire Knight thread and it turns out there is one already! Well, anyways, I love this series. The artwork is gorgeous and the storyline is very interesting. I highly recommend it!

It has just recently been published in the Shojo Beat magazine in the July issue. The magazine goes by chapters.

The official manga volumes will come out in January 2007 I believe.

VK is licensed in Germany as well...I just have to wait until October...then I´m able to read the first chapter in German.

I love this manga! i've been reading it in the shoujo beat ever since it replaced godchild, although i really liked godchild, this one can make up for it

same here, i've been reading it in shojo beat; seems really interesting & different from alot of other books i've been reading & the plot seems good also. Why did they end Godchild?!

Anyhow, i know they're gonna be a triangle between zero, yuki and kaname. Can't wait to see who she chooses. They're both pretty hot.

I've read chapter 19 raw also. I don't understand half of what is going on though. My Japanese is very basic.

I love this manga, especially the vampire theme ^^; actually, it's probably the first manga involving vampires that I've liked. The art is wonderful, and I'm just dying to find out what happens in chapter 20 (which is supposed to be 50 pages long *_*).
