"Greek", a new original series by creator Patrick Sean Smith, is a dramedy set at fictitious Cyprus-Rhodes University, which focuses on the social minefield that is the Greek system. Viewers will see this unique cast of characters navigate their way through this treacherous terrain as they try to find their place at Cyprus-Rhodes University.

Shawn Piller and Lloyd Segan (who together produced "Wildfire" and "The Dead Zone") and Anne Kenney ("Beautiful People," "The Division") will serve as executive producers. Gil Junger ("10 Things I Hate About You," "Kyle XY") directed the pilot, which was written by creator/co-executive producer Sean Smith ("Summerland," "Wildfire").

The ensemble cast includes Jacob Zachar as Rusty, Spencer Grammer as Casey, Scott Michael Foster as Cappie, Jake McDorman as Evan, Clark Duke as Dale, Dilshad Vadsaria as Rebecca, Paul James as Calvin and Amber Stevens as Ashleigh.

caught it after Kyle XY and have been watching it ever since ^ ^ only been around... 3 episodes so far? BUT IT'S SO FREAKING HILARIOUS XD a must watch!

ok i watch this show... it's a little formulaic and not the best show out there, but the guy who plays cappy is HOT.

i really looked down on Evan after i found out about his cheating, but after the last episode, i find him very sweet T__T when he was describing the "future" he dreamed of with Rusty's sister (blanking on her name) CASEY!, i was like.. AWW<3

I went to high school with the girl who plays Ashleigh. I think she's a lot like the character she plays. Not a very good actress though O_o.

I love this show. I'm getting obessed w. Jake McDorman. LOL. He's so hot. But anyway, i really think that Rusty is so funny, i only saw the beer pong episode T_T i need to catch up sooner or later. : ) But I really love how Casey is trying to get revenge from Rebecca and said that she'll be her something.. i forgot at the end. Like an older sister or something. LOL. And then like Evan is all caught in the middle. I really like this show.

i was out of town for a while but finally caught up with the latest episode... i think it's the best episode so far, i was actually engaged by the story beyond cappie taking his shirt off. man, i hate that rebecca girl almost as much as i hate abigail from the crucible, which is saying something... but i agree with ~neh~long~, lately i've started thinking that evan's not half bad. the future stuff he said to casey and then his effort to make her trust him again was really kinda sweet. i'd be disappointed if he turned out like every other one-dimensional jock character out there (i.e. a selfish jerk) cos right now between him and cappy it's a really interesting dynamic. also, it's not enough that those two are bitter rivals and in love with the same girl, they were also ROOMMATES during freshman year?? oh, the dirty things running through my head right now

the most recent episode was so good!! Rusty knocked my socks off, he was so adorable ^ ^ "she thinks i'm SEXY?!" and he finally got a kiss.. a really deep and long kiss at that =_=;; the volcano stuff was just.. WOW. it was raining beer =__= and Casey crashing Evan's parents' dinner was hilarious, especially her outfit ^ ^ best part, Rusty and his "STUPID" shirt. and yay, he finally got a date :)

OH MY! I LOVE THIS SHOW! HAHAHAHA Dude, their kind of pledging is soooo easy. it kind of makes me jealous. But this show is sooo stinkin' funny. Oh and I hate Rebecca! I HATE HER GUTS WITH A PASSION EVEN THOUGH SHE'S A FICTIONAL CHARACTER!! *shakes fist*

I love Jenny K.. she's adorable
and she showed more depth in this last episode~

at first i was so perfect evan was right for casey, now i have no idea after the last episode =_= i'm like... 45 % with Cappie and 50% with Evan and 5% with her leaving both of them X( hmm... i mean, Evan truly is a sweetie, even though he cheated, but i don't hold that against him. Cappie seems way too much of a drunk party animal, although he has his sweet moments as well... and come on, all relationships require some amount of PIE!! apple pie.. that was very sweet ^ ^ and Cappie IS smart, he just doesn't flaunt it as much XD Dale is so freaking hilarious... other than his crazy, radical beliefs, he's an awesome character ^0^

I prefer her& Cappie more.
I felt so bad for him during the last episode, or actually whenever Casey brings up Evan into their conversations.

But I personally thought the last episode was alittle pointless -0-
The commercial for it got me really hyped up but,
nothing big or important happened and it just seemed dull.

Yes, I think she was a year older than me? She was pretty outgoing and was the student council president.

i know, i was fully expecting casey to buck up and ACTUALLY PICK ONE OF THEM. but it just came back around in a circle.

anyways new episode yesterday. the whole "i love you" problem between rusty and jen was so ^ ^ it was really cute. and when he was trying to get her costume off, LOL. wow. and dale's crush was hilarious... wellwell. and what the heck is with cappie and his "lunch buffet", wow.. but i really feel bad for him now T__T he must really like casey.
the preview for the next ep was crazy. rebecca and cappie get a little too close for comfort ^-__-

ok, season finale, anyone?

to be honest, as far as the finale goes, this is one of the better ones. it creates a lot of tension and a lot of problems to be resolved next season... but first let's talk about casey. i know it seems that she's getting the shorter end of the stick when evan breaks up with her and cappie sleeps with her enemy, but i think she friggin' DESERVES it! i mean, franny is evil and casey is an idiot for ever listening to her. she should've never forgiven evan and if she did she should've told him about cappie early on. if she believed in her own words, the greek system is not a secret society, it's bound to come out sooner or later. she needs to redeem herself before i can even believe that she remotely deserves either of those guys.

now the whole jen k issue. i can't believe how people overreacted, esp. the zeta beta girls. even the omega chi guys were visibly chill over the whole thing. i mean, first of all, jen k did not make any of that up, the fraternities and sororities were GUILTY of all of those charges. i don't know, but i don't think she did anything wrong by telling the truth, especially when it concerns breaking the law. at least she has the decency to hide everyone's identity, and she mentions that she brings up some positive points on her article. that at least displays more tolerance than the zeta beta girls do toward her once she's found out, or than the omega chi boys toward calvin. rusty is an idiot like her sister (omg i hate the whole speech she gave rusty, what a hypocrite) for breaking up with jen. she's pretty, she's funny and she's smart--let's face it, she's out of rusty's league and the probability of rusty finding another girl that cool is slim to none.

then there's calvin... i'm relieved that at least the truth is out, now calvin just needs to repair his friendship with ashley next season. i think he will either rejoin omega chi or join kappa tau--i'm fine with either option. i hope he'll get back together with heath though, or at least find another guy just as cute. the cappie-rebecca thing is a little predictable after last week, and i like the fact that this show has made its initial villains (rebecca, evan) turn out to be very three-dimensional. despite some of the cheap tricks she pulled, rebecca turned out to be a decent person after all, and franny is the real villain. i think rebecca should get together with either evan or cappie, i can't believe i have a higher opinion of her than i do casey at this point, but i do.

so winter 2008, guys... i can't wait.

i'm glad someone agrees with me. the people on the imdb boards have the exact opposite view i think. they think casey's right about the whole thing, jen k's evil for writing the article, rusty's smart for ending the relationship, evan's a jerk for deserting casey, and cappie-rebecca are gross. i think this is what we're SUPPOSED to think, but frankly i'm not willing to defend the cartwrigts just cos they're the main character.

btw the poem might refer to this poem but i'm not sure.

I know it sucks that this season went by so fast and that we are going to have to wait a while for the next one to start. I got really excited today though because I came across this online show Rush'd, so far from what I can tell some kids are competing to get a role on the show, and they have to do challenges made up by the cast members. What I would do to get to be on Greek, so jealous!!!!

OMG.. so is anyone else watching this but me?? they just went to Hollywood and I'm so jelous, Ive never been there before.. and it looks awesome! I want to be on Greek so bad....

Any Greek fans out there? The show is coming back March 24 and I can't wait. I saw a commercial for it and it looks like this season is going to be very good. Anyone else excited?

^i've always liked the idea of rebecca and cappie. the cartwright siblings are starting to annoy/bore me. i wish calvin would get back together with heath. also, i feel so, so bad for evan--i really like his character now.

^ i feel like i've always loved evan... that one episode when he was talking to casey about him seeing her in his future and that whole speech... TOTALLY KILLED ME <3

i liked rebecca and cappie.. but now after last week's episode i'm not sure if cappie is being sincere :[ i think he's trying to distract himself from casey.. i mean when they had that REALLY tense + charged moment (i swear they should have just kissed =__=), he runs away to rebecca and starts making out with her.... =__=;;; he's like transferring his sexual energy or something over to rebecca.. while the poor girl really does like him T__T

and rusty with the whole "you're my friend, you should hate evan too!" thing he's trying to pull with calvin really annoyed me.
but the only thing i'm sure about... dale is such a loveble idiot :]

^yeah, scott foster (cappie) himself has mentioned that cappie and casey should be endgame, which really sucks. the only way i'd be ok with that outcome is if a. casey's character went through some major development--have her commit to one guy only (cappie), no more of this "i love both of you" BS, and for god's sake make her loosen up a bit. there's nothing sympathetic about an anal, judgmental sorority president. AND b. they paired up evan and rebecca. yes, his speech about their future was the turnaround for me, but last episode, when he fired that homophobic omega chi guy, really solidified my admiration for his character. i really like him and i really like rebecca, so i wouldn't mind having those two end up together, hopefully in a relationship that's more than just physical. besides, i was trying to think of who will be the right guy for rebecca once cappie breaks her heart, and evan seems to be the most logical solution. maybe beaver (who i've grown to like a lot) if they do some interesting development for him i.e. have his character turn out to be more than the dumb jock. either way, i hope they keep rebecca and all the other girls on the show away from rusty--i really, really don't like him.

anyways, anyone realized that when ashleigh explained to dean bowman, "and that's why i think ferris bueller is our generation's gatsby" he had this look on his face? i finally noticed that the actor playing dean bowman is the same guy who played cameron in ferris bueller's day off. i can't believe i forgot a main character from one of the greatest teen movies ever. classic.

before tonights episdoe i thought that the show was dragging abit, but tonights episode was actually pretty interesting with all the thinking back to the past...so now we finally know what had happened.

tonights show makes me see evan in a different light, i dont mind him with casey but i still LOVE casey with cappie!

^loved last night's episode. i wish cappie and evan were still friends, and franny and casey.

Franny annoys me- I am glad that Casey is keeping her at a distance. Cappie and Casey should be together!

^but they're so cute together. they're kinda the easygoing hippie guy-uptight upperclass girl stereotype, but i like them a lot.

also, what evan did was kind of jerk-ish, but i can't help but hope that he'll get back together with casey. i like evan--i think the writers are planning to bring him back to the dark side, which i think won't necessarily a bad thing. he's been kind of on the fence this whole time, so having him be completely evil might translate into a more significant redemption at the end

I actually like Cappie and Rebecca. At first I was against it but now it seems so right.
I actually don't like Casey for some bizarre reason. So I don't like Cappie and Casey together. But now i'm warming up to Evan I don't think Casey is worthy of him. Beaver is so funny!

Yay. I lot of Rebecca and Cappie shippers these day. I like both of them together because they bring out the best in each other.

two of my favorite things about this week's episode:
- rebecca: "sometimes you're attracted to people you can't stand" *cappie makes a scooby-doo sound* "oh no, not you, sweetie."
- dean bowman's wife is named sloane! another great reference (although it makes you wonder where ferris fits into all this).

but yeah, the cartwright siblings are honestly my least favorite characters now. i don't think it was fair that casey pretty much got away with her preferential treatment--i cheered when rebecca first called her out on it. and rusty... oh, the whole world revolves around smart little rusty. he needs to get over himself. seriously i might just end up wanting rebecca/cappie and evan/frannie unless they make casey more likeable.

Has anyone been watching this season- the last two episodes were great. Cappie dressed as a cheerleader ribbons and all was great! I used to feel bad for Evan but now I am kind of worried that Frannie is going to end up really hurt by the whole sneaking around thing. Did anyone know that she is going to be in the next Plain White T's music video?
