Haha, yeah I always hear and read about alot of stuffs regarding the Johnny's and BoA. Seems to me that alot of the boys are her fanboys. ^^ I know Yuichi from KAT-TUN has admitted before on a show that he is a BoA fan, and the rest of the KAT-TUN members went on saying that he always use BoA songs as his ringtones hehe, so cute. Well previously on Heyx3 (during her Make A Secret period), when BoA was performing Make A Secret, there was a moment when the camera was on KAT-TUN (I think, can't remember when) and Junno was mouthing 'kawaii' to the other KAT-TUN members haha.

^ 'Johnny's' is referring to the artists under Johnny's Entertainment (in Japan). These artists include boybands like KAT-TUN, Arashi etc.
For the MVs, I would recommend the following (those with a storyline):
Japanese
Winter Love
Love Letter (with a lil bit of storyline)
Korean
Waiting... (I can't really rmb if this MV comes with a storyline, in my impression it sorta does)
Actually, for most of her songs, you have to know the meaning behind the lyrics to relate to the MV if you're looking out for the storyline. But the ones I've listed above are those that comes with a more obvious storyline which you can tell by just watching the MV itself. Hope I'm of some help. :/

vivid actually made it into the top 200 despite only being in its like err second week of release! i sure hope the sales will maintain or something. maybe it will sell better than LYM in time to come?
and as for the MVs with storyline. hmmm. actually the korean version of key of heart comes to mind instantly. haha. but that itself is a olympus CF so i guess it is not counted. another one is holiday feat. first klas and palm drive. but depending on how you look at it. it can be just a dance-y sort of mv too. boa doesnt really have mvs with like storylines in them i guess. the ballads mv sometimes do have abit of story but not like those classic kinds too. KoH and anyband is probably the closest and they are both Cfs. haha.
oh and i just heard about the earthquake in japan too. my prayers goes out to the victims/people involved.

I don't follow BoA closely, but I totally respect how much work and dedication she puts into what she does.
Somebody mentioned that BoA met Kat Tun before? I was actually wondering if there were any collabs/shows with BoA and other Johnny celebs? There doesn't seem to be much interaction between her and other celebs ><

BoA, compared to other artists, ir probably the most private I've ever known. I don't knwo enough about BoA (T^T)! BoA needs to show her personality a bit more, maybe appear on more variety shows hehehe!!
Who does not want to see a BoA who would tell us what her typical saturdya morning is or her most embaressing moment (>_<)! It's like for BoA, her career is stricly singer, not an idol - singer/actor/designer,etc. It's like BoA's singing career is stricly professional. Like in Korea and also in Japan, BoA usually just performs on T.V shows and she hardly talks (.__.) . . .
I wanna know more about you BoA-chan ! ! !

^actually, I think otherwise.
If you have a chance, search BoA's documentary/making-of clips on YouTube, you'll find tons of stuff with exclusive behind-the-scene goodies. The videos will show you the other side of BoA that we don't get to see when she is performing. For example, she still acts like a little kid most of the time: Dorky, playful, and cheerful.
The thing about BoA is, when it comes to music, work (i.e. CF filming, photoshoot), she is a complete perfectionist. She likes to double check and make sure the products meet her standard. She is complete serious and dedicated.

Haha yeah she has met them for quite alot of times actually, on music shows. She has mentioned before that she doesn't really talk to the other artists when she attend the music shows.

I finished watching the following MV's: Love Letter, Waiting, Holiday, Key of Heart, Do the Motion, Winter Love...
My favorite one was Waiting, but my friend liked Key of Heart better. The photography (is that what you call it?) of Waiting was beautiful, and I thought that Donghae looked cute with Boa in Key of Heart.
And my friend and I had another question (sorry!) - in Key of Heart, when the robot comes in...is it supposed to look like Donghae or no? (We were confused, because to us, it looks nothing like him...?)

About rental sales...is there only chain of stores that rents out music? Or a whole bunch of them? Because to get all the rental sales of multiple different stores seems a little odd. They'd have to be really organized to keep track of it all. But that's interesting - maybe America should have a rental program like that, too, and enforce the ban on pirating music. Japan does well in keeping the music of artists protected (so that they make the money they should, and not get cheated). Though I have to admit, when I heard of renting music out, I was like o.O

Thanks for the news, Qin~ Just wondering, what do the numbers mean in the second column? I was hoping they'd place higher, but at least LYM and Vivid are in the top 200 and Vivid is still charting, I think.
BoA doesn't have many MVs with storylines, but I think it would help her with acting if she had more of them, like Key of Heart and Anyband. It'd give her more experience without having her dedicate too much time to it as opposed to acting in a drama. I think the ones closest to having a storyline would be Love Letter, Winter Love, and Waiting (I'm still curious about the male actor, to this day); even then, it's just BoA waiting for someone.
It's crazy that the rental sales are so much higher than actual sales, but I can understand, why buy the album if you can just rent it? I'm assuming renting it would be much cheaper.

Skinny jeans are perfect for her, imo; they show off her slender legs and they lengthen her, making her look taller, and with a pair of nice heels, she's set. I hate how she doesn't get to particpate in any SM activities anymore. I truly do wish she would go join SM at the concert. when im usually bored i go watch old stuff & then i felt like watching something of boa's because she's been doing her activities in japan & i havent seen her in korea in a LONG time(im korean btw XD) i looked up boa's moon & sunrise song aka one of my FAVORITE songs from her lol. i ended up watching her performance of the song from her 'Boa the Live' it was in japanese but it sounded just as amazing & touching as if it was in korean ;] language doesnt matter to me only if i like it X] but i remember the first time i watched it i ACTUALLY cried & got goosebumps. i usually dont cry but it was so sad! she knows how to put her emotion in songs it was pretty =]

That's one of my fav song too.
Yes BoA puts alot of emotions into her singing, and that's how her voice and songs touches my heart too. She wrote Moon and Sunrise when she first went to Japan, and that song really tells us alot about what she went through when she first went there. When I first watch BoA the Live, I cried when she was singing Moon and Sunrise too. It's such a beautiful song, isn't it ?

me, too. i mean the last SM thing she did was the Only Love song, but the last performance was the KMF perf in 2005. she didn't do any SM concert perfs, even though they're for SM artists.
but i hope she at least attends the SM concerts this summer.

i think her most closets friends are Aya Matsuura. Its definitely obvious that they are best friends and seem to hang out a lot together. It would be so awesome to see BoA at the SM concert. I mean, I don't know what she'd sing exactly since there won't be any new songs for her, but hey, she's unpredictable; the stuff you read in the news turn out to be false or things fall through; on the other hand, she'll pop up out of nowhere with something new.
I've heard that BoA is friends with Ai Otsuka; they call each other and hang out and stuff. Of course, m-flo. Honestly, I'd say she's good friends with a majority of the people she's worked with over the years + people from SM + Kim Jaedong, Wheesung, Yoon Dohyun, etc.
