anybody know any? or any groups like that? epik high forsure, and others?
it doesn't have to be a group.. individual songs that have a good beat and have alright lyrics will do :]

A lot early Tupac works are pretty good, pre-Death Row days.
De La Soul
Common
Despite what people may say.. Kanye West. Diamonds from Sierra Leone (remix), Jesus Walks, Through the Wire all had some dope lyrics.
Dynamic Duo has some good lyrical stuff, but I only noticed a handful...

Mos-Def, Talib kweli, jay-z at times, i'm loving kanye's new song stronger...it's very positive and the beat is ridiculous!

I second Lupe Fiasco & 2pac! (Those were the 1st ones that came to mind, but other people already mentioned them.)
Also, they're more underground artists, but music by Tonedeff, CunninLynguists (dirty group name, but many meaningful songs), Brother Ali, PackFM...
