Make sure you get yourself to your local record store on the 14th to get one of the best album release this year!! Eisley's second album is friggin fantastic, and if your a fan of their first album, you'll love this as well. They have definatly matured their sound, its more full, ethereal, and so damn beautiful, but there are a few more harder songs than the first album, the opening Many Funerals starts off pretty soft but itll be a surprise for fans and new ones alike with where they go by the time the chorus hits. The first single is Invasion, second song on the album, and this is one of the main reason I love Eisley, becuz theyre lyrical content, its not cliche' stuff you hear, they actually wrote and released a song as their first single based on the book Invasion of the Body Snatchers! Every song on the album is listenable, like the last album...and they kept its short with 10 songs (altho i wish there was more) but youll end up listening to every song on every play through, and likely to repeat.

I think this album is AMAZING. I lost interest in them for awhile because I felt that some of the songs on Room Noises were toooo mellow for my taste. Combinations is a lot edgier than their old stuff which I think sounds awesome. The vocals also got better

Overall, great sophomore effort. EXCEPT, the ten songs are ALL very short. The album length comes in at a grand total of 34 minutes.
