what do you think are aspects of you that don't conform to asian stereotypes?

as for me:
-my best friends are white and i don't have a preference with hanging out with asians more in general.
-i suck at math once it moves on to the calculus level.
-not smart, hard-working, am a business major, etc.
-i'm not a terrible driver. i'm not great either but i haven't gotten into a real accident or pulled over before.
-can't speak cantonese but can understand it okay
-i wear white people clothes i guess...although i don't know what the hell asians are supposed to wear

that's all that i can think of...maybe i'll get back to this later.

This is one reason why people have a hard time accepting Asian Americans.

Somehow people always think that Asians are suppose to have accents, even though they might be 2nd or 3rd or later generation Asians who have lived in America for a long time or were born here.

Hmm ... I have perfect English (even though Korean was my first language). I don't like chewy food. (It seems like most Koreans like chewy food like the tough parts of meat, but I can't stand it.)

I don't have Asian handwriting. I don't like Asian singers, actors, actresses, groups, etc.

I don't talk asian.
I sometimes REALLY REALLY dislike asians.
I am not super smart and have that 4.0+ GPA.

I've never dated a 100% pure asian girl " EVER " I've always gone out w/ someone who's mix(jpn/italian, jpn/brit, chn/por) I guess you can say that's " what's not asian " about me.

Um. I guess the really non-asian thing about me as that I can't speak my own native language well. xD

- I don't listen to asian music.
- I don't watch asian shows and dramas.
- My parents aren't the stereotypical, strict asian parents.
- I don't like anime and manga.
- I prefer American food over asian food.

hmm, I cant pinpoint something in me that is non-asian. perhaps that stereotypical belief that Asians are good in Math, which i'm not.

but I also revel in the fact that many tend to distinguish Asians as really smart people. unfortunately for me, at times, people would ask me and they expect I know the answer; but I'm just clueless.

Americans always have the idea that Asians are harworking perfectionists, but well..I rarely did homework for the past year and I've always been a huge procrastinator. And I sucksucksuck at math.

i majored in business ... instead of anything related to health.

My asian side: typical excel @ math & science (but I hate it), not that great in sports,
i'm also very cheap & love to bargain.

My non-asian side: I love non-asian people! brown, white, black. love them all (:

- i'm tall(well for an asian anyway)

sometimes my friends walk behind me and talk i was some white girl because of the way i dress and most of my clothes are from A&F...i dont talk like asian...i hate that kinda talk..

...it's like those asian wannabe gangster..the way they talk is really annoying...

and i'm really lazy and always procrastinating on doing my hw.. >.< ...that's all i can think of right now,,

- cant do math
- HATE animes.
- NOT going to a major that my parents want me to go (i.e doctor, lawyer, math related..)
