Have you guys listened to Mae's new album Singularity? I've listened to the album once and based on first impressions, this album is just okay. They're no longer part of Tooth & Nail Records and are now part of Capitol, which I think at least partly explains why the sound is different this time around. One thing that's missing from a lot of this album is the presence of the piano, which was part of what made Mae's music so awesome. Also, none of the songs immediately caught my attention the way some of them did on Destination:Beautiful and The Everglow. I'm not gonna say I don't like this sound (I could never not love them), but I will say that I miss their old style a lot

I loved Mae's 2nd album.. I haven't heard their new album yet.. But I hope it's not too different from the 2nd album.
