Yeah it's a sequel, just pretend the first one didn't happen. The trailer alone > the '04 film.

i think i saw more blood and gore in this trailer than all the bloody gory movies i've seen in all my life combined

I never saw AVP, but I'll see this if people actually like it (unlike the first one).

I hope, hope, hope to god they put more scenes that are actually AvP. Stuff the humans. I don't want to watch humans. I want to see pure predator/alien action!! XD

umm, just got back from the cinemas. was falling asleep during the movie. didn't like it.

omggg sucked sooo bad!

such a waste of my money!! the first one was better in my opinion.. damn my friends who made me watch this! argh LOL

i'll summarize the movie.. highlight if you want to be spoiled

highlight now
on predator ship, alien hatches from predator stomach
ship crashes on earth
alien starts infesting people over and over again
ONE predator finds out what happened and goes to earth on different ship
GORE GORE GORE FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT ALEINS HATCHING!
survivors scared
national guards that came were owned in like 2 seconds
sheriff of town calls for help from army
some high ranking officer tells that there will be an airlift for survivors in the center of the town
one of the survivors just so happenn to be apart of the army
thinks high ranking officer is lying and it does not make sense to go to the center of town
they split
army survivor brings others to the hospital to try and escape by operating a helicopter
sheriff and others head to center of town
FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT GORE GORE GORE ONE PREDATOR FIGHTING!
one of the survivors following the army survivor picks of predator weapon which the predator dropped
they successfully escape on the helicopter.. people in the center of the city are bombed.. whole city destroyed
army survivor and others are found by the army
high ranking official brings the predator weapon to even higher official.. even higher official saids something like "this weapon does not belong on earth" or "this technology is too advanced for this planet".. whatever something along those lines..

so in the end.. practically everyone dies.. no winner except for those 4 survivors lol

END OF MOVIE!! how stupid is this!

I am juiceeed to see this. AVP shoud've been rated R in the first place! I can't wait to see this.

Was this movie good? I'm not interested in this kind of stuff, but I happened to watch the first one when it came out and it really intrigued me. I have no idea why.

Once again it was too much on the humans.
I actually liked AVP better than this one.
I didn't get many many parts of the movie.

why did only ONE predator go to stop all the aliens on earth?!? DOes that make sense. He seems like some DIVO that can handle everything by himself. Quite stupid.
There was not enough fighting between the aliens and the ONE predator. I wanted some hand to hand combat and stuff liek AVP, but htis was more of just shooting...YAWN!
I don't know if it was the theater, but in many parts, I couldn't tell the difference between the alien and hte predator.
I will have to watch this movie again because maybe I was just um....not into it the first time?

i just saw it....stupid movie....
was sorta forced to watch it....

the action scenes were also lame and nothing exciting. me and my friends amused ourselves by referring avp to starcraft. the predators do look sorta protossish

you should check out the Predator, if you're up for another one should check out the Predator 2 movie then. grew up first predator and Aliens movies.

come to think of it. it is based on the human race more than the actual fighting. damn humans why couldn't they all just die while the alien, predalien and predator continue to fight it off... few punches hear and there, the slice and dice with the whip. a bad ass predator gun. the most cool part is the pregnant women's bellys. now there's something you don't see in every movie. congratulations moms you gave birth to 4 aliens. lol i'm sorry i just had to say that.

Terrible lighting too - couldn't tell who was who since it was mostly dark and I got irritated with the humans... I wanted to see Aliens versus Predators but instead I got.... gibberish.

OMG!!! this film was hilarious!!
every one in the cinema laughed when the love interest for the boy got killed by accident by the predator.
Had and extreme opening what with the Kid hunting with his dad and all.
you would have thought his chest was too small to hatch an alien, but there you go.

I like it !!

Despite of the dumb dramatization (no electricity, heavy rain), I like it, so intense. More intense than the 1st one.

It's cool how they later connect it with the original Alien movies.

Actually I just watched Alien Vs Predator few days ago, because it came out on TV.

I'm not too thrilled about the sequel though.
