what did they do to smoker anyway? since sanji can't even have a cig. i know they named him chaser(lol) but what'd they do with his power and cigars? i can't believe the dub skipped the little garden arc too. exactly what was so bad about that arc...it was one of my favorite ones too.

but on a happier note, 162 is out by k-f. yay!

The dubs are horrible. It sucks to watch it dubbed. But I can't really buy the original version. Sadly... I am on a low budget! Haha.

i remember the i first saw it, i was like.. 'ew... bad graphics and that guy stretches..' now, im all into the anime and manga. i love all the opening and ending theme songs.
btw, i DISLIKE the dubbed anime. i cant stand it. i cant stand to watch any dubbed anime period. i would pull out my hairs if i have to watch anime dubbed especially ONE PIECE!!!!!

I usually like action anime, but i dont really have any feelings for One Piece.

THIS IS SO HILARIOUS!!! All the characters fit together so well cuz they have such different personalities and because of that they make scenes funny. Luffy is awesome!!! Nami...man, she's scary cuz she always triumphs when it comes to keeping the guys in shape to run the ship lol. USOPP!!!!! He's soooooo funny!!! I loved him best in the episode of those sharks. Shark Arlem's gang. He was absolutely hilarious. Zorro is always great. Especially in the episode where he stroke a pose cuz he was about to turn into a statue by Mr. 3 (omg, wtf is with his hair?!!!). Zorro said, "You guys shoulda struck a pose while you had the chance." to Nami and the princess lol. This anime....sigh....is a miracle. Of course I started watching it right before my finals * BIG MISTAKE!!! Did terrible on my finals...what a great way to start college freshman year lol.

Replying to those who didn't like it:

When I first watched it, I wasn't really interested in it either, but I think it was because it was the beginning and they were introducing all the characters you know? You can't judge the anime or whatever on the first beginning episodes where the story isn't really the main plot. I suggest you guys watch it all the way through after they got all the main characters. If you guys continue to dislike it then....wtf do you guys call comedy?? lol just messing. Everyone has their tastes. I wish you guys liked it though. It's really good ^.^

^what really irks me is people who dislike it because of the animation. who cares if it looks different? it's not even the best part of the show.

if you finish arlong arc and you still don't like this show, THEN give up on it.

lol that reminds me. Remember when Zoro was bored being captive in Arlong's castle or whatever and he was talking to that weird squid guy? lol. The squid guy gave him a ride to the place where everyone else was without even knowing that Zoro was the enemy lol. The best fight in the Arlong episodes was when Usopp was up against that long mouth guy lol. It was hilarious!! Usopp was hiding behind a tree with his head way out and the guy saw him, "Why do I get the idiot?" lol so he attacked him and Usopp was like, "How'd he find me?!"

The best part about their fight was when Usopp finally got that shark down and he kept doing his Shooting Star (i forget the actual name of the attack). "Shooting Star! Shooting Star! Shooting Star! Shooting Star! Shooting Star! Usopp Rubberband! Shooting Star! Shooting Star! Shooting Star!!" lol That made me laugh so hard. My parents were passing by and gave me this weird look, "What the hell is she looking at?"

One Piece is one of my favorite series of all time. I'm currently just following the series with the anime.

I just got done watching episode 182. Holy crap! MY MAN, LUFFY~!! Whooping "God" Enel's ass!! I really can't wait for 183. New ending theme for 182, though it sounds pretty good, I will still miss "A to Z".


Btw, I really think more people should really get into One Piece, it's truly a great series. I really think it's underrated(well.. here in the forum I mean).

it's getting a bad rep since people see the dubbed ones and get turned off by the idea of one piece. most people don't understand the genius behind it.

Yeah, I know. I initially was going to post something similiar to that topic but ended up deleted it, was too long. Some of my friends are one of those people. They saw the 4KIDS version first and decided not to ever watch or get into the series. Too bad for them, I tried convincing them into watching the K-F/fansub versions but they are too damn thick-headed so I just gave up. But I did convince some of my other friends to get into the series though, they love it.

i was watching the 4kids version on tv and they ended up cutting the little garden arc from the series. so when nami gets that flu from the bug in little garden, they just say it's a flu that happens to come when coming to the grand line. i was PISSED. i guess they didn't wanna show nami in the bra or something so they cut it out.
