she lipsynched..her perf was half 3rd love, half only you...it seemed as if she was performing like she always does..nothing extra special even when its her goodbye special..>.<

edit: just finished watching the perf!!! I think its really good. Although she doesn't sing live, but I haven't seen her dance like this on stage for a long time (since she mostly sang live). and her outfit suits her too~ so cute~ It is not bad at all + Only you Rock Version!!! I love that version

OOOOOH!!! i read the article link you gave us and... she is waiting to debut as an actress... basically she has recieved small rolls and offers for dramas and movies but she hasnt taked some of them just becuase she doesnt like the roles... they are all like the sexy diva type of rolls... she wants to act but says she is waiting for a role that is more fitted to her and her ability... (shes says a bright and energetic roll or an actiony roll would be fun) and so on... so yeah... just that she wants to break out of the "sexy diva" image... shes done with her 3rd album stuff and is planning on releasing her album in sept at the FASTEST... so maybe later.... not ealier prolly....

I honestly like her as a singer... I'm kinda tired of singers turning into actors, but if its what Chae Yeon wants, I'm cool with it!! LOL... As long as she does a great job.... I'm kind of doubting at this point because I haven't been impress with even one singer turned actor or actress yet... they tend to only do well in one kind of character. They do well only on a part that is similar to their real personality, but when they really try to play a character complete different from their own, they don't do as well.
(Like Eugene did a great job in "Last Dance with Me", but her acting in her current drama, "I really really Like You", is horrible... Bi was also great in "Full House", but his acting in "Ijuksa" didn't impress me.) Same with also of other singer turned actors...


I'm glad that Chae Yeon wants to act a character that is bright and cute... because that's how she really is... so I think that she'll do those kinds of parts better since its similar to her real personality, but I hope that unlike those other singer turned actors, I hope that she can also master playing characters that are also completely different from her own.

Sorry, that was long... I don't usually write this much, but I have such a strong and specific opinion on this subject.... LOL!

i agree, her albums start and end too quickly, she should take time with her album, or if not, just take a short break, as much as we will miss CY, we still want the best for her. And it's always the best to come out in a surprise with a new style and music so that she can surprise her fans and everyone else.

totally agree ... i actually don't mind singer turning to actors as long as they can really act!!! ... but i agree... many singer turn actors can only act certain roles...and it's hard to break away from it !! I really Like BI .. he's a great actor .. i luv his acting in Sangdoo the most (his crying was soo goood and realistic)and in Full House .. he was able to act stubborn and cute.. but when it came down to Ijuksa.. the role doesn't diut him that well .. he still did good but not great.. and the storyline. i didn't really like
