It's not as enjoyable to watch it when I don't understand it but it's still fun to watch variety shows like Heroine 6, Xman, and LL because of the activities they do. I still find it funny sometimes and laugh even tho I don't know what they are saying. ^^

I really wish I know Korean so I can watch whichever show I want ... but oh well.... just like many others, I watch the show without knowing what the heck they saying ... hihi... I can guess it out sometimes 'cause I can catch the language a little bit (after watching many show/movies/drama, I should) but it still fun ... Also, there are some nice people doing the subs for x-man & love letter ... so we basically rely on that... hhi...

Love Letter was really good when Chae Yeon came out more often, and when Jang Young Ran, Jang Woo Hyuk, and Bin were regulars!! They also had better guests back then, like Minwoo, FTTS, and DBSK....

^ to be honest, i miss LL season 1... to see all the guys fight for one girl.. specially when all shinhwa's were there... man!!!!!!

season 2... is quite funny.. sometimes.. but sometimes... i find it boring.. or not as funny as season 1... to me... i think.. heheheheh... season 2... i definitely miss MC MONG, MISS SHIN, JANG YOUNG RAN....

yeah LL has been boring lately, but it's because of the guest, most of the guest now are new and they are usually quiet. Before LL had like gasoos that everyone knew and loved like Shinhwa and etc. So it was always loud. T___T. Oh those special times.

Now I just enjoy xman because well I think CY seems to have much more fun on there, and not only her but I LOVE MC Yoo, lol. I swear if he stopped hosting that show, I wouldn't watch it anymore. And also other cast as in Park Myung Soo and that other guy he's always arguing with, although I don't know what they are saying but they are still funny to me ^^. And sometimes xman has better guests, and also they have better games (IMO) and i just love their dance segments ^^.

I agree I liked it better when the guys would have to catch the roses, instead on running. I like the quiz game though, because now the guys chose their partners not only based on looks, but brains.

I also realized from this quiz game, how dumb the all the Sugar members are .... at first I thought it was proabaly part of the script, but then you hear them say things that are so dumb and you just know that, it wasn't scripted!

i think the reason why i do not enjoy the couple quiz game is because i don't know korean and many of the questions are related to Korea, it's history and it's culture.. ...so even with translation and all .. hence it's not as funny to me

Tei is so sweet. I'm still and always be yeoni supporter(maybe i'm the only one here). Now can everyone forgive tei? he is a gentleman. In one game in LL (the one that tei have to carry chaeyeon), he tried not to let chaeyeon hit the ground when they lost.

I watch all the show because of the guests. although i don't know any korean, I enjoy watching those celeb on the show. It is good enough to see chaeyeon on show, but it would be better if I understand.

No.... it is not that scripted....

My aunt in my dad's side of the family works for sbs news in Korea.... not variety shows, but she has a friend in SBS, who work in those variety shows and those shows are all adlibbed from celebrities. Its usually the comedians and mc's who have most of the scripts. The celebrities are sometimes asked to prepare some jokes, and stuff, etc. but they are usually too busy to memorize actual scripts. If it is their first time, they do usually get some scripts to help them out, but after they come out in the show a few times, usually they are on their own.

^ but i remember reading someone's post last time of XMAN with uknow and hwangbo etc... i think micky was there as well!? its scripted to who is paired with who though.... they even listed out who is paired with who... O_O

Those scripts with the all couples listed, are usually for the mc's, when they do the pairing up of who goes against who, in the "Of Course" games and stuff, etc... and the show usually hints who they would like to have paired, but it is ultimately the celebrities choice if they want to be coupled with them or not. Although, usually the celebrities do follow the vibe they get from the show.... But its not like the celebrities come to the show and the script says "today you are going to be paired with this person and this is what you guys are going to be saying to each other"

Even this week's episode, that VOS guy didn't pick any girl and no girl picked him!
If the show scripted for all of the couples the script writers would have definitely made sure he at least offered one of the girls a flower in the end!



I know... I'm really excited for tomorrow's x-man too!!! I want to who Chae Yeon pairs up with and I also want to see the rest of the Dang Hyun Ha Gi "of course" game with Tony and Kang Ta too!!

yeah i know that these games are scripted but i don't it's that scripted. Like the celebrities are probably told what should happen and all, and then from then on the celebrities just make whatever up. For example, the whole CY and LSG thing, the PD probably told them to start the whole love thing, but i'm pretty sure that they didnt tell them what to say word for word.

When I first started watching shows like Love Letter and X-man I watched them thinking they were scripted because thats what everyone said but after watching a fair share of these shows I'm starting to doubt if these shows are as scripted as everyone thinks.

These shows are edited together, its actually quite easy to spot parts where some of the people are at one place one second and a completely different place the next second but if you watch some of the reactions that the people give, unless they are some of the greatest actors in the world, a lot of their responses seem quite genuine.

I'm not saying that all these people are in love with each other but I think people should use the word scripted quite loosely at least with shows like Love Letter and X-man.

What I think, is that the germany special might not air until around June, because that's when the world cup starts. I kind of have this xman thing planned out. Since the previews shows the new MC playing games still in the xman set, it means that there's two parts to that episode which will cover May 7 and 14th.

Another news came in that Michelle Wie (pro golfer) will be on xman which will air on "The episodes will air on the 21st and 28th of May"

And in Shinhwa's news, it states:
